It was a beautiful autumn day in Queensland on Saturday in Redcliffe. The sun was shining, and the temperatures sat around 28'C. All this meant that it was going to be a very busy along the waterfront of Redcliffe.
When we arrived I noticed that there was more traffic than usual; it was clear that everyone had decided to spend the morning enjoying the great weather. When I arrived I was encouraged to find a group of Christians from a local church handing out New Testaments and flyers for gospel courses at their church. We were able to chat to them, and encourage them in the work they were doing. They also encouraged us to keep on sharing the gospel.
Last time I was out in Redcliffe, I was the only Christian witnessing, today, we had nine other people come along to witness from local churches and organisations. It was wonderful to labour alongside each other for the gospel, and even though we have different backgrounds, we were able to make much of Jesus.
Today, the conversations seemed to be coming quick and regular. People were taking tracts, chatting, and we nearly ran out of Bibles on the Free Bible table.
One young lady, who would have been around fourteen years old, was amazed at the message of Jesus. As I explained to her what Christ did on the cross, she couldn't help but say, "Oh! WOW!"
By the end of the day it was great to see so many people walking around with tracts in their hands. The gospel was spreading all along the waterfront.
Please pray that the Father would draw many to the Son as a result of today's outreach.
