Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday Oct 28, 2025 from 1030-1200
After a hottest day we have an opposite torrential rainy day. Rain was pounding down pour in my suburb , my wife once questioned if I still should do my scheduled outreach today under such awkward weather condition, but I somehow sensed the call to serve despite of external circumstances. Two divine appointments proved that my subtle sense of the Spirit was right.
There was very few people at the bus stop. I was led to a girl from South America. She bluntly declined my chat if it is about God. In normal situation , I would have given up but I was urged to keep the conversation on. She was very alert and did not want to share too much about herself, just told me she is from South America and is doing a Master degree in UQ. Somehow, I used my limited Spanish to try breaking the ice telling her my Father was born in Mexico and worked for 10 years later in his middle age at El Savador. Since I could not talk about God, so instead I shared my life testimony that I am an Alumni of UQ and did a Master of Counselling but my purpose to serve my own cross-cultural family members was defeated yet I was given the capacity to serve as the disaster relief team to help out the Sichuan earthquake. Suddenly, I was moved to ask what kind of master she is doing and out of my surprise, she admitted she actually is doing the same degree as mine, the Master of Counselling. So, God might have used this to show it is no coincidence. I was moved to further share with her the horrible reality of PDTS with past and current cases to impress her with memories for future next divine appointment.
Another divine appointment was with an Indian doing Physic at U Q . He is from a Christian family but falls away from his parents ‘ faith. He rather believes that being a good person is fine enough as such he inclined to identify with Buddhism. But my sharing really triggered him to understand good is not good enough and imperfection really will cause eternal separation from God or disqualification from heavenly citizenship.
There were other chat with people chatted with me before and some consistent rejecting people. They were all good training for me to serve and listen to God simultaneously.

Meets 1:30-3pm every Tuesday afternoon at the Toowong train station on the 2nd floor and splits into two teams, one at the main entrance of Toowong Tower on Sherwood Road, another at the foot of the pedestrian bridge across Benson Street.
