What is Operation 513?

Operation 513 gets its name from Matthew 5:13-16:

"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." -Matthew 5:13-16

Operation 513 In Action

We are a group of Christians, from different denominational backgrounds, who are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) to preach the Gospel to all nations.

Our primary mission is to see God glorified through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to see the lost come unto salvation. Also, we exist to equip and encourage the believers for the work of evangelism.

Theologically we would be classed as evangelical and we adhere to the five solas of the protestant reformation. That is, we believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, all for God's glory alone, found in the Scripture alone.

We are committed to the public proclamation of the Gospel. We believe that God saves sinners through the Gospel revealed in the scriptures. We strive to be faithful to the delivery of His message. The integrity of the Gospel is of utter most importance; everything else is secondary.

We reject the unbiblical modern gospel representation that refuses to confront sinners in their sin and never warns of the impending judgment, water down God's holiness and does not urge people to come to Christ. We believe that the perfect Law of God is given to us not as a way to salvation, but as a mirror to reflect our sinful state so that we might come to the realization of our dire need of Christ. The Gospel of Christ dying on the cross to justify sinners makes no sense without the preaching of sin.

We are committed to the equipping of the saints to evangelize their part of the world. Evangelism is the God given mandate of every Christian and we endeavor to train, inspire, encourage and exhort all believers to share their faith with the unsaved.

Finally, we are called to "contend for the faith" (Jude 1:3). This Gospel given to us once for all time deserves our total devotion to defend and protect. The truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures is not open to individual interpretation. The Gospel transcends all culture and is relevant for all times. Any attempts at adjusting the message according to the fleeting taste of the world only serve to undermine the power of His Gospel. We will dare to be radical in our obedience and follow the command of Christ to the end.

"MAY THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN RECEIVE THE REWARD OF HIS SUFFERING"
