Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday April 16th , 2025 from 1030-1200
Today, I again served solo as Johnny became unavailable with trade man coming to serve his home. It was a special day for me as it tested my perseverance against an initial period of helplessness , serving alone and facing, rejection or simply ignorance then followed by a momentary period of empty bus stop with no people there to look for a chat. Finally, God gave me a few extraordinary divine appointments that resulted in unexpected fruit bearing outcomes as per Battle Log below: -
1) There were not may people around so I naturally approach the lone person who is a Korean. He anyway declined my approach kept saying sorry, so I guess it was all because of his bad English level.
2) Then I turned to the only person at the bus stop from Mainland China中國,he obviously was sacred to chat with a stranger about religious, though I readily started off on rapport building. He anyway chose to let me talk but with no response to my words.
3) Then I tried to approach an English old Lady after getting off fthe bus, but she did not stay yet left me with a few words of encouragement. Then I realized she had several chats with me before and has all along showed a supportive stand.
4) After all these trialing initial hiccups, God led me to approach yet another mainland Mr Huang.中囯黃 He also gave me a blunt refusal for a chat, but instead he changed his mind to ask me for guidance how to take bus to South Bank. I gave him many suggestions to make him feel safe then I can use the good person gag to show him even people like me who are helpful to strangers would not go to heaven as the standard set by God is you have to be perfect. At the end, he became fully open and receptive to the4 gospel message. I ended helping him to tell the Bus driver to alert him to get off at his targeted place. He was so happy and impressed by the Christian love and was willing to take a selfie to symbolize our accidental friendship orchestrated by God.
5) Then I had chance to catch up with an UQW student from Cambodia. He was also all open and receptive to the Gospel
6) Last but not the least, I approach Ruby who had been at the bus stop for quite sometime. She is an ABC who prefer English, she is non-religious though with many Christian friends. I ended up sharing her the full gospel and she looked very impressed and convinced to pursue Christianity and accept Jesus as her Savior.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday April 9th , 2025 from 1030-1200
Today was the first day we have advanced our ministry time earlier to 1030-1200. The result was all good. Both of us, Johnny and Hung, got many quality and long conversation. A stand out one was with a Muslim migrant from Afghanistan as elaborated below in Hung's Battle Log.
1) I was led to approach a lady by the name of Tang 鄧from Hong Kong港女. She came at young age to receive high school than Uni education in Australia for almost 11 years. She is non-religious, 無信仰. Yet she was open to the gospel message and accepted the fact that, as long as we, human are imperfect, every one has the need to address the issue of sin that rightly have disqualified us to rejoin the heavenly Kingdom. The only way is to let Jesus to help us accepting Him as our Savior as such the punishment of eternal death meaning forever losing the right to re-connect with God can be written off by Jesus taking over our punishment. And the record of our sin is set to zero the moment we accepted Jesus as our Savior thereby making us a new creation clean and perfectly sin free for regaining the sonship or heavenly citizen ship of God. She was happy to ponder seriously to make her last step of faith to accept Jesus as her Savior.
2) Scott , a local Aussie who was also non religious. The Spirit led us through the similar conversation and he was happy to realize that the meaning of fair dinkum Aussie can also be applied to make him a fair dinkum Christian once he accepted Jesus.
3) Zabi is a refugee migrant from Afghanistan. The Spirit led me to casually chat about our past life journey before entering into gospel sharing. He is a highly educated person with a Master degree in Economic and very perfect English of high proficiency level. His parent also run a good small family business in Afghanistan but all of these were ruined by the Taliban coming into power. As a Muslim, he realizes when a human being are in power, they will very likely be corrupted and be driven to accumulate wealth in the expense of ordinary people. So needless for me to tell him, he readily observed, religion is aimed to make someone a better person but it is never a solution or remedy to make people becoming a perfect or sinless person. Rather people in power either in politics and or religion are all vulnerable to become corrupted and greedy regime trying to stay in power to maximize their monetary gain. It is along this line of reflection that Zabi, an pious Muslim admitted fallen human are beyond redemption and need a Savior to cleanse our sin. We chatted for an hour and say good bye as a cross cultural friend even when we are still two persons of different faiths.
4) Lastly had sometime to chat with a senior person from Guangzhou, whose world view and mindset has been seriously brained wash by communism up bringing. I nevertheless share him the full gospel and handing him a tract.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday April 2nd, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today was a soaking rainy day. Johnny was sick so I had to start solo again. The rain made people in bad mood, so not a best day for evangelism. Nevertheless, I still managed to get a number of good chats that stood out as recap below: -
1) Daly is a mixed with Chinese Mum and Vietnamese Dad and an UQ student. He is a Christian by family tradition as such he is unclear about redemption by grace through faith and lacking assurance of salvation. But after clarification he showed appreciation by taking a selfie with me.
2) Then had conversations consecutively with Mainlander Chinese who are either migrants and students. They all appeared hesitant to chat but ended up still receptive to the gospel sharing.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 26th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today I started first with Johnny joining me a bit later. Praised and thanked God that he has recovered from his coughing. Both had some long conversation and towards the end, God led two Muslim people to have a long chat with us hopefully with some impactful changes to their mind set about salvation by grace through face but not by works.
1) Mr Qiang強from Shanghai上海, claimed we chatted with him many times before多次. But his understanding again has faded as such I simply shared once again the full gospel message with him until his wife came back to reunited with him for the bus.
2) Next was a lady from Hangzhou杭州 coming to Australia to visit her daughter staying to live in Australia after her Uni study. Good rapport was built and full gospel was shared.
3) Then I was led to chat with an Indian girl who is a medical student of UQ doing practicum at Sunnybank Private Hospital. Only nutshell of gospel was shared.
4) Next was a Japanese young man from Osaka, and was surprised that I could greet him in Japanese. Time was also not enough for a full gospel but a tract was handed to him.
5) Mira a UQ student from Taiwan. She is non religious but still appeared very open and receptive to the gospel .
6) Zinta a Pakistan girl coming here to do high school study. She seems to be a fair dinkum Muslim very familiar with Koran. Yet she is very open to the sharing of the full gospel even though her mind has been brainwashed to stick to the Islamic faith. All I tried to do is to explain who Jesus is and what has he done for the human kind.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 19th, 2025 from 1130-1230
I started earlier to day as it seems that I am the only one to do outreach today while other team mated are still not available. The results was still considered good, with two stand out divine encounters apart from some other shorter conversation because of bus arrival interruption.
First, I was led to approach an elderly man from PNG who claimed to be a Christian but ended up finding out a Mormon. The Spirit led me to identify with him as we both were a cancer patient but healed by God through intensive prayers. All I could do is to emphasize Jesus as our Savior who is the triune God on mission to restore the fallen human race and to bring glory back to God.
Next, I was led to approach Rolene, a local Anglican Aussie who had fond memory of Hong Kong connection through trade and tourism. Good rapport was built and he passed the check of assurance of salvation having 100% certainty because of his faith in Christ.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 12th, 2025 from 1300-1430
Brisbane has basically returned normal from the aftermath of Cyclone Alfred. Ann and Hung were both back to Sunnybank at the normal time. The work of thew Holy Spirit was vividly apparent there as such most people we approached, Christians and non-believers inclusive, were all very open, friendly and receptive to the message shared. Recap are the highlight of some of the conversation in those divine encounters.
1) I was ;ed to approach Ken from Jiangsu, Suzhou江蘇蘇州. He is a UQ student waiting for his two classmates, rapport was built nicely through sharing first my China travelling experience including Suzhou. It provide a smooth leading to sharing of Gospel of which Ken appeared open and receptive.
2) Next was Queenie a Catholic Christian from Filipine. She comes for college study in English,, Through the assurance test, she was diagnosed to have only 20% of assurance of salvation but has been joyfully clarified.
3) Same applied to Junior an UQ student a Tonga origin guy but from New Zealand and now also called Australian home. He got 95% of assurance of salvation which of course is not right. Again he felt blessings to have it clarified and now he embrace 100% assurance of salvation purely because of Jesus' redemptive work.
4) Then attempt was made to approach an Indian lady with half success as she was in a hurry for meeting a friend else where but still nutshell of the gospel with a tract was given out.
5) Another highlight was with a Japanese lady Semi from Tokyo coming to Australia as a working holiday after she worked for 4 year as a teacher in Japan. She chose to come back to refresh her memory as an exchange student of an Australian State High School. Thus her English and my Japanese are both good enough for gospel sharing.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 5th, 2025 from 0930-1030
Because of the imminent direct hit on Brisbane by the typhoon Alfred, I decided to do the street outreach earlier in the morning and let other team members who live farther away to take a rest. The wind was stronger but still not threatening yet. However the people flow was significantly less. I had to wait at the bus stop empty without persons for many long period. Nevertheless, I still managed to have several quality chat as recap below.
1) Perlman is a migrant from India. He received Christ here in Australia. So I switched to test his assurance of salvation which is 100% but the reason for it is not absolutely clear as such I need to clarify by giving him a recap of the gospel which he humbly accepted with appreciation.
2) Next was Wang from Guangzhou, China but his Cantonese is not fluent. He was taking a rest at the bus stop so it gave me plenty of time to share him the full Gospel. He appeared open and receptive to the gospel possibly also because there was no other Chinese around when we chatted.
3) Then I approached An UQ student Ma from Shandong doing study on Economics like myself. It quickly helped building rapport and receptiveness of gospel till his bus arrived.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday February 19th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today, Ann and Hung turned up with Edwin chipping in for a short while. It was an amazing day of outreach characterized by two outward expressions. First, several gospel targets without hesitation claimed that they have been watching me and the team to serve in Sunnybank at the bus stop, showing appreciation of our ministry there. Second, during the conversation, several target ended up asking and guessing my age that all of them thought I am around just 50 years of age but totally found dump to know I am already 72 getting to 73 in few months time. It certainly impressed them that the Christian faith and the Christian walk have compounded impact to my health both physically and spiritually speaking that I look just for ever young to live a life on mission with God. That fit with the teaching of Jesus as per Matt 24:14 that we do not just preach the Gospel to people of all nations towards the end of the world, we also bear witnesses for Christ when we proceed to do His work of global gospel outreach that people may recognize we are really the blessed ambassador for Christ. Recap below is the Battle Log for Hung:
1) The first Chinese woman I approached claimed to be a fan of our team, having been watching us serving there for years. So she said , she heard the message many times already and referred me to speak to another young guy from China.
2) The Young guy is a new student of QUT from China, he showed interest in my conversation with that lady. So I switched to chat with him for a while before the bus came.
3) Third was Terry a Catholic Christian lady who also claimed she just chatted with me two weeks ago. But she still patiently and humbly listened to my revision of the gospel. She out of the blue offered to guess my age as 50 and was surprised that I am 72 going to be 73. It was possibly because she felt the passion in side me to preach the gospel so earnestly.
4) Then I was led to approach a nurse from Sunnybank private. I jokingly said I am a loyal customer of the hospital because of my Bladder cancer treatment there in the past 4 years. She appeared a bit avoidance to cut the conversation short in view of the approaching bus that she did not want to miss.
5) Then I was led to chat with a matured man from Shangdong. China. After listening my gospel, he also suddenly offered to guess my age and said I am 50 like Terry. I supposed he was also impressed by my passion to share the gospel as if I am still young enough for this ministry.
6) Next was a girl from a city near Bangkok in Thailand. She comes to do TESOL study. She was also receptive to the Gospel.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday February 5th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today, Johnny, Ann and Hung were available to team up at Sunnybank for Street Gospel Outreach. There was intermittent rain, but as usual, it never could deter the fire of the Gospel warrior squad to retreat from the fore front battle line preaching gospel to people of all nations. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -
1) Lin林 from Singapore gave hung a big hand wave while we were doing our opening prayer. I was thus attracted to approach him to check if we had met before but found out it was an innocent mistake, Mr. Lin was only waving to stop the bus from leaving but he failed as such it became the first divine appointment for me to chat for a long while with Lin. He is non-religious, but embrace freedom of religion. He has open mind and rational thinking to grasp my gospel presentation logic that as long as we are not perfect, we all need help from a perfect third party human to be our atoning savior taking our place to received punishment of our sin. Who ever in our life time accepted Jesus as our Savior then his/her life will be saved with heavenly citizenship granted to us with immediate effect 100% be3casue of Jesus' redemptive acts, none because of our good deeds. Lin admitted it made a lot of sense and promise to ponder to make his final step of faith to grab the gift of grace of eternal life offered for free by Jesus.
2) Then I was led to approach Henry from a small Islander country near Fiji called Kiribati. He was of Catholic Christian family background as such his answer to the 2 questions for testing assurance of salvation all failed. It indicated he seriously is not yet a genuine Christian without the step of repentant from sin and overtly accepted Jesus as Savior. He however is a very lay back and humble person, who like to share a lot about his Chinese blood background. His Chinese name is sort of Chi feng and his father name is Choi Kwong. Both a native born in Kiribati. He came to Australia for a short course and has not decided yet if he want to stay for ever. I urge him to consider migration to Heaven even more seriously than to migrate to Australia. And he laughingly agreed.
3) Ben is an Australian born Vietnamese. Because of his upbringing in Australia with less influence from Buddhism, he appeared all open and receptive to the Gospel.
4) A Landscaper of heavy duty labor job who has to start working from 5am to mid day, as such he leads a very healthy sleeping habit turning to bed at 7pm and waking up 1 or 2 am for the early start of landscape work. He absolutely did not want me to share gospel or anything religious to him , but I used his work and his discipline healthy life as an analogy that we also need a very healthy and pure spiritual life which have been contaminated by sin. He ended up giving me a fist pump on setting apart for the bus to acknowledge his acceptance of me as a friend.
Don’t want to chat religion but life is ok sleep by 7 pm
5) Lastly I caught up with Genti from India now staying in Australia on a TR permit for a short course. Her English is not good but we still manage to communicate to let me share the full gospel to her.
