Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday August 23th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Today was a very warm and sunny Winter afternoon. As usual Johnny Winnie and Hung teamed up to reach out to mainly UQ students at the Bus stop. For consecutive weeks, there are a long queue at the Bus stop around 1340. It was not good for outreach as people tend not like to get into conversation with a stranger in the public with people in the queue all on watch. But we still managed to approach people moved by the Spirit. After the queue was clear, we resumed back to more one on one conversation with generally good results. Recap below is the Battle Log of Rev Hung Kwan.
1) I was moved to approach Christie in the queue. She is a Sri Lanka lady who claimed to be a Buddhist. I affirmed her that all religions are good though Buddhism is strictly speaking not a religion. As a Buddhist, she still has to ponder if she is perfect if not then she and all people in the world good or bad, all are not immune to face judgment after death. She appeared open minded and even seems to be in full agreement of what I shared with her.
2) After the queue was cleared, I approached two Indonesian Muslims girls. They appeared not so keen to chat but still let me share and listened on for the full gospel. Yet, at the end, they declined to take the tract.
3) Raymond is an Indian. He appeared willing to chat and listen to the Gospel, though still a bit uneasy. I trust the message impressed him and pray for the work of God through the tract he has received.
4) Then I approached a Chinese from Taiwan. He claimed to be an atheist. But he cannot prove there is no God.但ä¸èƒ½åé§ã€‚Then he said if he has to believe in a god he would prefer the Chinese Godä¿¡æ°‘æ—的神. I challenged him to think if there is a supreme God, will there be many different gods in different culture. Pray for God enlightenment.
5) Masami is a Japanese lady yet she has been in Australia for 16 years. She quickly declared she attends the CCCB church nearby. And she passes the assurance of Salvation test, which is 100% by the effective work of grace of Jesus dying on the cross for all us the sinners. She was happy to take selfie with me so that I can let Kia Teck know and follow up as necessary.
6) Peter is a local Aussie that I met many times before. I can't remember clearly if he had been tested for assurance of salvation before. So, I decided to have a go but then I was surprised to know that Peter only has 90% assurance of salvation. So, I tried to correct his mind but the bus came and got him away.
7) Mel is a Christian girl from Tonga, she came to Australia at 8 years old. After the test of assurance of salvation, she only has 50% assurance of salvation. I clarified for her and she was happy to take a selfie with me.

I posted last week's report on my personal Facebook wall, and I was really encouraged to see some friends commenting about their own gospel sharing endeavours! Good stuff! Keep it up. If these reports are encouraging you to get out and share Jesus, then the effort is worth it! :)
You see, I’m no one special when it comes to evangelism - really. I think the difference is that I’ve just persisted in it, and out of much practice at sharing the same message over and over I could possibly give an illusion that I’m somehow gifted - I’m not. All it is is: study of the Bible, practice and discipline. Yes, it’s scary when you first do it. It’s counter cultural, etc, etc, I can list all the excuses, I know them all, because I’ve said them all. But, what does the Bible say? Go. Go and tell others about Jesus. Let’s change culture, one person at a time. Join me. If you look past all your fears and excuses, you know you really want to. Jesus is amazing! He took ALL our sin, there is no better message to share! :) Step out, be bold, be polite, be faithful, share the gospel.
Live in Christchurch, and want some equipping and encouragement? Consider joining some training we have planned. Check out the details here.
Anyway, this week I was on the streets Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. I didn’t go out today (Sunday) because instead my daughters were baptised! It was wonderful listening to their testimonies (and the testimonies of others being baptised). Glory to God alone.
Tuesday I was in Riccarton with Roger. I turned up a little early and was straight into a chat with a couple of Indian fellas (who refused to hear the gospel and walked off). Roger and I were so busy that we didn’t even have a chance to greet each other till the outreach was over! My very next chat was a long one. A Russian guy, where I laboured over the law and the gospel multiple times. He seemed to be impacted a little, but he was really completely blind to what I was trying to share. Eventually the chat came to a natural end (there is only so many times you can go over something before needing a break!) and he moved on. But, then he came back and offered to buy me a coffee. The outreach was practically over, and so I agreed. When Roger finished his last chat, he came and joined us too.
The gospel conversation naturally continued. At this point, I even had my Bible out correcting what he thought it said. But it was getting late, and I needed to get home. I sent him a text with some verses to check out (I helped him download a Bible on his phone). He walked with me till I got to my car, and we finally parted ways. He was lovely and I really enjoyed spending time with him.
Well, the next morning, I was surprised to see him texting me asking questions about what he was reading in the book of John in the Bible! And then Saturday (yesterday) he was texting me again, where I was able to bring him back to the gospel (still completely blind to the truth, sadly). But I’m glad he is staying in touch. Please pray that I will continue to have the opportunity to witness to him and that he will encounter other Christians that will continue to witness to him. That the blindness would be removed so he can see the seriousness of his sin (and smell its stench), and then the amazing mercy of Jesus and trust in him. But, ultimately that God would be glorified through his life.
Friday was also busy, in the city, there was a team of 4: Roger, Andy, John and myself. It was great to see Simon the Atheist out! I’ve been praying for him, and I haven’t seen him for a long time. He was out earning gold stars from the cosmos by telling the Jehovah Witnesses how wrong they are. Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to catch up with him myself - this time.
I spoke with a man with a Mormon background. The Hara Kristina’s went through, but they had forgotten to bring the book they said they would bring for me. God willing next Friday! And maybe I’ll be able to start deepening the conversation with them? Please pray. God’s mercy is not beyond anyone. I spoke with another couple (he was resistant, she was open). I spoke with a young man who used to play cricket.
To end the outreach, I stopped two young ladies who were walking around playing loud music. Sadly, one of the first things one of them said was that she was suicidal :( As our conversation progressed, the volume on the music dropped and was eventually switched off. They heard the law and the gospel, and then I circled back to plead with your not to commit suicide - there is hope!
It was great to have John join me on Saturday (a different John from Friday’s outreach). We were in Riccarton on what was a warm sunny day. Spring is nearly here! :D It was also a fairly busy outreach too. John and I took turns at running the flip chart.
We shared the gospel with three girls, then John was sharing with a guy when a lady broke into the conversation! I distracted the lady off to the side and left John with the guy. I only had about 5 minutes with her, but those 5 minutes seemed significant. She was a 7th day adventist. She seemed stunned when I asked why she could go to heaven. She thought for a bit, and then said, “keep the 10 commandments”. So, we started looking at the 10 commandments. Had she lied? She looked like she had just been caught! Had she stolen? “Well, when I was 13”, she responded. So I asked her what you call someone who steals things when they are 13. But then she said that God is forgiving. If you ask for forgiveness, you’ll be okay. And I was able to explain why that wouldn’t help. But then I switched to the good news, and explained about Jesus. She processed this for a bit, but then she just wanted to talk about the Sabbath. I pleaded with her that that was the least of her concerns at the moment. But, I think that was all she could cope with for now. She had to go. But she did accept a tract before she went.
The final chat of the day was with a young man who had been involved with churches in the past, but was now suppressing the truth of the reality of God.
I love my job. It’s so easy. The message is the same, and you just repeat it. And there is a small set of questions that are always asked that the Bible has the answer for. Practice and discipline is all you need to add (as well as a huge dollop of love for the people you are talking to). It is so rewarding. And then, you rest: physically, and in the sovereignty of the one and only triune God of the universe. All glory to him alone.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday August 17th, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Today Gary and Amy both could not come due to sickness of self and family members. But Joe was able to re-join us after his Covid-19 infection was over. It was a pity I just forgot the team photo after I did the opening prayer. It was a normal day of outreach with mixed results. But Joe was doing very well having many, if not all fruitful and meaningful conversations. As for me, the Spirit led me to meet with many Chinese mainlanders which I used to avoid as their attitude in majority is very resistant. But today, I observed the territorial spirit of those mainlanders has changed a little bit with many more open and interested conversation. So, I need to adjust my prejudice to give them more chance to listen to the gospel. Recap below is my Battle Log: -
1) A lady by the name Laiè³´ from Quanzhou廣州, appeared very open and receptive to the gospelç¦éŸ³. It was rare that I started with a very long first chat. The Spirit even moved me to share further on my personal testimony 見è‰and hopeful she will be drawn to pursue God.
2) Brenden an ABC he said we met two months ago. His Dad is from Hkg and mum from Quanzhou. He was not
very keen to share his thought after reading the tract but still friendly to keep chatting till the bus arrived.
3) A young man just arrived from Shanghai to study at UQ上海男å©å‰›ä¾†. He was OK to chat but the bus came a bit too quick but he still willingly took a tract.
4) A Very arrogant young lady still managed to share the core of the Gospel.
5) Then the Spirit led me to approach Hu胡from mainland China大陸,he claimed to be an Atheist無神論but still willing to listen ad he was convinced that no one can prove God does not exist. ä½†é¡˜è½ I trust the sharing of Gospel has changed his attitude about Gid and salvations bit.
6) A Shanghainese couple 上海夫婦,the wife was strong in attitude and self-righteous 妻強勢,自義 despite my gospel message clearly shared that being a good person alone will not address the issue of sin, she seemed hearing but not listening and still stressed that being a good person would be fine.è½è€Œä¸è¦‹ï¼Œè¡Œå–„å³å¯ï¼Œä¸è½ç¦éŸ³ï¼Œè€é ‘固, she did not just want me to stop and also forbidden here husband to take a tract from me.
7) Another female mainlander from China ä¸å¥³ï¼Œappearing completely cold 冷 and indifferent to the gospel message.
8 ) Yet another mainlander Chinese from Quanzhouä¸ç”·å»£å·žï¼Œhe listened but did not show any reaction and made no response è½ä¸æœƒæ‡‰. At the end he also declined the tract.
9) A Filipino was willing to listen but her bus came to cut short the conversation.
10) Yet another mainlander Womanä¸å¥³ï¼Œshe listened attentivelyè€å¿ƒè½ï¼Œbut the message did not move her a bit.但ä¸ç‚ºæ‰€å‹•
11) Finally, I caught up with Li æŽï¼Œfrom 北京,via Shanghai 經上海來,He was very open to listen and have very sensible reaction and interaction. 願è´

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday August 16th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Praise be to God we had Alfred, Ka Fai Yau from Sydney joining us making a team of four. Alfred is the Asia Mobilizer of the African Inland Mission. He also runs his own Network Mission and want to connect with Brisbane Co-workers to have a glimpse of what we are doing in the cross-cultural evangelism aspects. Therefore, I invited him to come along to have a go. There were overwhelmingly large people flow with a long queue for the bus that presented a mixed situations that was good to have more outreach targets but meantime we would face a larger reject rate as one rejection will cause repercussion effect leading all people around also inclined to follow suit to reject our approach.
We just kept trusting the Lord to dig deep hanging in there and at the end, we still got some very good quality chat towards the end. Recap is the Battle log of Hung:
1) I approached an Aborigine look guys who claimed he is all good showing initial reluctant to listen, but the Spirit gave me additional urge and softened his heart to still listen while waiting in the queue. People around were actually listening, so despite the hard soil all around, gospel still be heard.
2) The Spirit guided me to approach an Indonesia girl who surprisingly showed genuine willingness to listen and thanks for my sharing afterward. Pray that the message coupling with the tract will serve God's Will and Plan for her.
3) After the bus stop was emptied with queue of people boarding the bus, I was led to approach yet another Indonesian lady who was equally humble to welcome my gospel sharing showing positive reaction to the message.
4) I tried personally several Chinese students but all got rejection , but then the Spirit led me to approach yet another one who had just rejected Johnny. But I was moved to give it a go and miraculously he was softened to have a good cat with me. He actually has been targeted by God with many prior approaches by his Christian friends. He asked me back what made us keep doing this task of nuisance and why we think the gospel message are so important. He ended up telling me perhaps it is time he should try to have a serious reading of the Bible that someone had given to him before. This divine encounter and turning point really showed me time and again , the Spirit is at work and I am really the vessel used by God through the Spirit to break open the stone heart of a people being raised up from an atheist country.
5) Then I tried to approach an Indian students who also show me a cold face. He listened reluctantly for a while than rudely walked away.
6) Then I was led to approach a Korean student who was feeling so happy for getting a good deal buying a big pack of croissant at $9. I teased at him for that good deal but suggested to him there are something else that are more important than a reduced-price goods item. He was moved but the bus arrived so he could only take a tract from me.
7) Then I caught up with an Aussie girl who was waiting for a call from her friends, I said I will stop when her friend call. Then I earned 1 minute to share the nutshell of the Gospel and left her a tract.
8 ) Thomas from Whitsunday looks like a young generation Atheist, and showed a bit of annoyance while interrupted by me from his head phone music. But the Spirit worked mightily to draw him to the gospel and he ended up thanking me for the gospel message and showed his appreciation by taking a selfie with me.
9 ) Finally I intercepted Winnie to have a chat with Matt who claimed himself a Salvo Christian . I went straight to test for his assurance of salvation which he failed, but he was humble enough to listen and was pleased to find that he should have 100% assurance of salvation simply because of the redemptive work of Jesus dying for us on the cross.

It was great to be back on the streets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (today). Really nice sunny weather!
It was great to have Jermaine join Roger and I at the Bridge of Remembrance on Friday afternoon. There were a lot of people around. Actually, a lot of rugby players. The local team was out drumming up support for the new season about to start.
I was able to start a chat with one of them, and he pulled one of his mates into the conversation. The mate was resistant, but the original guy seemed impacted as they both heard the gospel.
I saw Roger having a conversation with one of the rugby players too.
Later, a couple of Hare Krishna’s went past chanting. I’ve tried to engage them in the past, but they wouldn’t stop. They didn’t stop this time either, but a minute later they paused and called me over! I wanted to know what they believed, “why should I become a Hare Krishna. Their brief answers weren’t answers at all, and then they wanted to move on. I asked if they at least had a pamphlet explaining, one of them said they would bring a free book next Friday - so I’m looking forward to seeing them again.
But the highlight conversation of the day was with a young man walking down the middle of the mall. He was willing to stop and take off his headphones, but when he realised I wanted to talk about “afterlife”, he rolled his eyes and said he was too high for that at the moment. Not to be put off, and suggested that now may be a better time than ever, and lo and behold we had a great long chat. It turns out he grew up in a local evangelical church, and even went to the Christian High School where my church meets each Sunday. But he had rejected Christianity. It turns out he is bisexual. I was able to labour through the law and the gospel with him, and he really seemed to appreciate the chat. Glory to God alone.
On Saturday, I wasn’t going to head out, as my legs were a bit sore. But I decided to go anyway. I set up my flip chart, and it was a bit of a slow start. I felt like an idiot standing on the corner of Rotherham Street and Riccarton Road, with all the cars going past and not talking to anyone.
I prayed, and just said, “here I am God, use me”.
I went and sat down for a moment, and then looked up, 2 guys were walking past, I said, “hey guys, I have a question for you”, and they stopped, it was a wonderful chat! One of them was familiar with the church, but wasn’t currently going - he received a wake up call. But the other guy seemed genuinely impacted and appreciative for hearing the good news.
Soon after they left, an Asian guy called Erik went past, he was curious about the flip chart, and we fell into a gospel conversation. Before I even get to the gospel, he says, “you're going to say Jesus”. “Yeah, that’s right”, I say. I explain why Jesus' sacrifice is our only hope. And then he stops me and says, with a slightly red face, “Just yesterday I told my friends I don’t believe in Jesus. And this morning, some things have happened, and now I walk into you”. His look was one of shock at how perfect the timing was. He had questions, “Why is God letting these things happen to me?”. I answered his questions, and then I warned him, and I pleaded with him about the gospel. I was so encouraged that God, in his perfect timing, would bring Eric to me. I was so honoured that he would answer my prayer as he did.
Christian, may this encourage you too, as you step out in sharing the gospel! God uses our feeble efforts for his glory.
I went on and ended up having 6 solid gospel chats over the 2 hours of the outreach. It was so busy that twice I had people (3 in total) stop to want to talk, but I couldn’t because I was already deep in conversation.
Now, please, don’t join me in this work. The harvest isn’t ripe, and there are plenty of labourers. So don’t pray for more.
I mean, there is treasure in heaven to be gained, why should I share my marvellous treasure with you? I can’t wait to lay my treasure at the feet of Jesus.
Sunday (today) was really interesting. I turn up at my usual spot at the corner of Colombo and Cashel, and there is a guy there, James, sniffing a bag of glue. It was a sad sight. At that very moment, a lady (Tina) walks past smiling at me, but she turns to pour scorn on James. So, I decided to go and sit beside James and get involved with this conversation. It was weird watching them gently verbally abuse each other. She was a druggie, but she doesn’t do glue like James! So bizarre! Weirdly, she goes to the local convenience store and buys James a pie and a drink (her good deed for the day I guess). Anyway, they both take tracts, and I’m able to start discussing the gospel with both of them - but mainly with Tina because she was more sober. She was very resistant, but I could see I was making some progress.
A crowd draws a crowd, and so a skater, Carl, joins the conversations. By this stage, Tina is ready to move on, so my focus turns to Carl. Turns out he used to sniff glue, like James - but he “matured”. He is a good person now, and, sadly, he fought for his self righteousness. I was able to labour with him in regards to the law until a distraction occurred and he took the opportunity to skate off. He ignored my calls - I wanted to give him a tract.
Well, by this stage, Susan had joined me. I looked up and I saw a Greek Orthodox priest and his friend walking down the mall! This is an opportunity I couldn’t refuse, so I approached them and we fell into a conversation. The priest was maybe caught off guard, because he didn’t have any answer as I seeked to find out what he believed. But his friend interjected and started explaining a story about how the Russian Czar chose the religion for his country!
But then, there was shouting coming from behind me. I turned to see James the glue sniffer getting into a fight with someone!? It killed my conversation with the Orthodox guys, but luckily Susan gave the priest a tract. I went over to try to calm the situation as a crowd started to gather. The situation calmed down (security turned up), and I was able to start engaging a couple of kids with the gospel, while Susan gave a tract to the guy that was in the scuffle with James.
Whew, such a busy outreach! Susan and I were now in the shade, and so we decided to head down to the other end of the mall (bridge of remembrance) to the sun. We handed out a heap of tracts (a crowd had gathered to watch a local busker) and I was able to have a few more short / half gospel conversations. We finished up with prayer.
I give glory to God for another weekend of gospel opportunity on the streets of Christchurch. As I write this, I’m reflecting on the parable of the sower that Jesus explained. Our job is to scatter the seed, I leave all the results in his care. May there be an increase for God’s glory alone.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday August 10t, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Today is Ekka Public Holiday as well as family day, Johnny and Amy were all not available. Joe Chai also not able to come because of family member having got Covid-positive. By the grace of God Gary instead can come so just the two of us team up for the Ekka holiday outreach. There were apparently less people flow and the bus came very frequently and quickly to bring people to the City then Ekka as such majority of the gospel chat were incomplete. It ended up as if it was only a tract handling out day. Recap below is my Battle Log: -
1) Lady Poon from Hong Kong, just managed to share the nutshell of the gospel and jumping to the conclusion of everyone needs Jesus as our saviour.
2) Taiwan Christian couples, only time for a tract.
3) A young man Chen陳 from Chengdu, Sichuan 四巿ˆéƒ½ whom I can identify very well because of my earthquake ministry there in 2008. His girlfriend was indifferent. 女å‹å†·æ¼ But Chen appeared interested and listen seriously and took a tract when the bus arrived.
4) Two young men one from HKG, a Christian and one from On Fei安徽, a non-believer. He was humble to listen but was interrupted by a phone call and the HKG friend kept chatting a shot while with me but was forced to end our conversation when the bus arrived.
5) A mature young lady by the surname Chen 陳who is from Hubei 湖北and was interested to listen to the Gospel yet the bus again came very quickly.
6) A Taiwanese å°ç£couple, members of Formosa Churchå°ç¦ claimed to be all Christians in the family.一家信主 Yet she has no assurance of salvation 䏿·¸æ¥šæ•‘æ©and even no idea about the mission and work of J us. At least managed to clarify the meaning of salvation and helped the old lady to establish assurance of salvation.
7) Another young man from Nanchong of Jiangxi.江西å—昌. He was very interested to gospel感興趣, yet bus came and grasp him away.
8 ) A Chinese descendant Indonesia å°å°¼lady claimed to have listened to the Bible and gone to church but still yet to be a Christian. è´åŠåŽ»æ•™æœƒ
9) Then I caught up with an Malaysian Chinese馬è¯in KL. Just only have time for quick key point message on the tract.
10) A very self-righteous lady prevented me to share with her friendéžå¸¸è‡ªç¾©çš„婦人,攔截朋å‹ä¿¡ä¸»

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday August 9th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Today was an ordinary day fine for Street Outreach. There were more people flow at the bus stop. The three of us Johnny, Winnie and Hung served as a team. We all faced rejections but also having many meaningful chat. It was all the work of God to align us to meet and chat with people to fulfill the Will and plan of God for that particular gospel target, and in the meantime, help us to growth in faith and knowledge of God. Reap below are the Battle Log of Hung and Winnie: -
1) First I was led to approach a Singaporean man Tan. He was polite but calm and just listen to the Gospel message with not much interaction. I did ask if he found the message sensible and logical, he accepted that he can raise no objection to the design of God to render us salvation.
2) Ellen is a Christian girl who only disclose to me after I finished sharing the Gospel. I turned to check if she has assurance of salvation which was negative. I anyhow made her aware of the real reason we can get to heaven is because of the work of Jesus did for us taking our place to receive the punishment of our sins which is 100% effective to wipe clean our sins setting the record to zero. It is naturally and provided by God to allow us fail occasionally enroute of journey of sanctification. But it won't affect His promise to make us perfect again on the ground Jesus did to grant us the lost heavenly citizenship.
3) Then I was moved to approach a lady Ruth from Botswana who was very willing to hear the Gospel. Her bus arrived a bit too early to cut short our conversation. She still managed to grasp a tract to read at home.
4) An Aussie girl Susan who claimed she does not believe in God but she could not deny the logicality of the gospel. She admitted she is not perfect and accept that we have to pay a price for all those imperfection sin we have in our live.
5) Then I was led to chat with Sun Jieå«å“²from Shandongå±±æ±è‡¨æ»‹ï¼ŒHe appeared very open and enthusiastic to the Gospel, possibly because I can identify with his home town in Shandong.
I was able to finish the full Gospel in a nutshell leaving him the invitation to accept Christ to ponder.
6) Last but not the least, I was led to approach Derick from Sweden. Seemingly he is a Atheist, showing reluctance to chat. But I made it a personal chat about life and still ended up preaching full Gospel to him. Similarly, he could not raise any point to rebuke the truth of the Gospel.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday August 3rd, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
It was yet another fine weather afternoon good for open air outreach. It was sorry to have two regular members kept absent because of illness of self and family members. But God gave Johnny and Hung a surprise by calling and moving an old OPN 513 advocate and past team members Joe Chai to re-join us. He actually used to be the best spiritual friend of Johnny's son Michael. Both of them were once active in street outreach but later on moved on to other job and ministry. Joe worked with Evangelical Students in Campus outreach and some other outreach ministry of his church. Since the Pandemic, he is one of the work- from-home new social species. Through the Battle log of OPN 513, he got updated of our now limited street outreach while majority of OPN 513 folk have switched focus to online evangelism. Finally, God moved him to join us today while we are short of two regular hands. He actually takes one hour lunch break to rush to Sunnybank to join us from his new home now in Runcorn. We were most impressed by Joe apostolic passion to sacrifice his lunch hour to do His work. God is great and we are privilege to be His vessel for the proclamation of Gospel.
Today all of us faced momentarily consecutive rejection. But God also gave all of us many long and fruitful chats. God also imparted team work amongst us, using one team member to make the initial approach, though rejected but allow another team member to follow up making a successful connection on the 2nd attempt. Battle log of Hung is recap as follows: -
1 ) God led me to first approach an Old Aussie lady, who surprisingly was willing to talk and responded to question expressing her wish she could go to heaven by good deeds. It was a pity I did not have time to correct this stereotype concept and pray that the tract will still do the job.
2 ) Then I was led to approach Mr Yeung 楊from Quanzhou廣å…. He claimed he is a Buddhism practitionerä½›. It more so gave me chance to clarify that all religions including Buddhism are good but only good at guiding people to be a good person. But no one can go to heaven unless we are perfect. I also pointed out to Mr Yeung that Buddhism strictly speaking is not a religion but simply a Moral education centre as there is no God head mentioned in Buddhism. It was all the self-perfection personal life transcending journey of the founder. Mr Yeung seems to have been impressed and understand what the religions can and cannot do versus Jesus a genuine saviour.
3 ) After that, I encountered again many rejections or sometime completer ignorance. I prayerfully moved on to my next divine appointment.
4 ) I approached two Chinese girls who also showed initial reluctance to chat. But I prayerfully and patiently still managed to share with them the full gospel before their bus arrived.
5 ) Then I have a medium long chat with Mr Yip 葉 from Hong Kong. He after a while disclosed, he is Christian and passed my test of complete assurance of salivation. He is now attending local Aussie church, but I encourage him to re-join Chinese Church or some of the on-line service.
6 ) Then I was led to approach a man from China who has just arrived from Shan Dong Ji Nan. å±±æ±æ¿Ÿå—. He is the rare mainlander to has open mind to listen to Gospel.
7 ) A defiant local Aussie with a Gypsy look initially tried to reject conversation but end up doing life searching question. Our conversation lasted the longest for 30 minutes. He claimed he was once a Christian but left the church and never ever will go back as he saw too many fake Christian with bad life witnesses. But after the long chat, he seemed to have his fallen asleep Spirit be revived again to see the work of God in his life.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday August 2nd, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was a fine Winter afternoon as warm as Summer. Possibly also because of resuming of a new term of UQ, there were heap of people queuing for the bus. It was a double-edged sword that many opportunities for outreach but too crowded that may affect the quality of the conversation. Nevertheless, all the three of us seemed to have many fruitful conversations with both first timer and a couple of follow up chats. Recap below are the Battle Log of Hung and Winnie: -
1 ) Young man by the name of Ng å³from Quanzhou廣州 as such Cantonese speaking, who has come here just 2-3 months as a fresh undergrad, 二三月. He is of the opinion that being a good person should be enough to heaven好人便æˆ. I could only manage to share first the conclusion in view of the imminent bus arrival.
2 ) Peter from Thailand , though not very welcoming initially but softened to take in the full gospel.
3 ) I approached a lady from inner Magnolia 內蒙å¤after she grab Chinese tract from Johnny and asked further for an English tract for the obvious purpose to learn English.å¸è‹±æ–‡ï¼ŒShe is an exchange Scholar in Physic. 物ç†å¸è€…專家 I share with her that Christianity in China is actually thriving to test that she is not yet a believers. I thought I have 6 min to share but an unscheduled bus arrived to have interrupted with my sharing. Hopefully the bilingual tracts will serve God's purpose for that lady.
4 ) Rejection by one and then two all from China
5 ) Then I met up with Loren a Christian whom we had chatted before. But this time I had time to test his assurance of salvation which showed he is not sure. Just had enough time to clarify for him when the bus came.
6 ) A Catholic background girl appeared very impatience to chat, using excuse the mask blurred my voice. So I took off my mask and continue to share. Her initial reaction is all offensive. But suddenly an aborigine man interjected our conversation and he told the girl to listen to the gospel as he once was also all rejective but now she ask the girl to listen. So the girl attitude turned softened to let me finish the gospel.
7 ) A Brazil couple agreed all I shared and disclosed that they are actually Christian. When tested they have a sort of assurance of salvation but still not fully cleared. It was a pity their bus came then.
8 ) Then I approached an ABC who had initial hesitant but still listen finally.
9 ) Then I approached an Indian look Filipino who is of Christian family. Yet he has no assurance of salvation so I doubtfully fear that he is not yet saved. But his bus arrived and he has to leave.
10 ) Lastly I approached Mr Chan 陳newly from Hong Kong香港. He was very quiet 沈默making no interaction. I nevertheless still managed to share him the full Gospel.
