Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Nov 22nd 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Hurrah, Chi Ming Lin and Di Tseun Zeng couples from Taiwan re-joined the Toowong team today. We praise and thanks God for their faithfulness to come as soon as they arrived in Brisbane after a gap year of 3 ever since the pandemic happened. They chose to hand out tract near the main entrance of the Toowong Village on the Sherwood Rod front. Winnie and I team up to do the Bus stop as usual. Both of us got many divine appointments to share gospel to people of all Nations, including Korean, Brazilian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Local Aussie, and Australian Born Chinese from Cairns. Ouch, just noticed that there was no Chinese in the list and I remembered all the few Chinese I approached all rejected the gospel. But Winnie seemed to have a better result with the Mainlanders. God is always in control.
1) I was led to approach first a Korean who appeared a bit reluctant to chat but still listened on my full gospel sharing.
2) Bento, a half Japanese and half Brazilian declared himself a Catholic Christian. Apparently, he knows little about the Bible and effect or meaning of salvation. I did an assurance of salvation diagnose which eh failed. Clarified anyway with him and he is grateful for this.
3) Helen an UQ student from Java Indonesian but is a Christian, yet she also lacks the assurance of salvation. The bus just arrived as such I could only told Helen the conclusion that our salvation is made true only through the redemptive work of Jesus which is 100% effective to earn us the long-lost heavenly citizenship.
Assurance not 100%
4) Johnny another Brazilian young man coming here to learn how to fly an aeroplane at UQ. He seemingly is not yet a Christian, but he appeared very opened to the gospel and thanked me for it.
5) Then I approached an elderly Aussie man who question me if I am a Jehovah Witness. I said no then I expect he would be happy to chat with me, but curiously, he bet for my pardon to let him be alone to clear his mind which I of course could not reject.
6) Then I approached a Singaporean who declared himself a Christian and had talked with us before, but he seemed to have lack of assurance of salvation which again I only had flash moment to clarify for him before his bus left.
7) Joshua is a local young Aussie. Though he appeared indifferent to the gospel, but he still politely listen to full gospel message.
8 ) Lastly I was led to approach an ABC from Cairns. He is a young man with a stone heart who showed no patience to listen to the Gospel.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Nov 15th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was a new period without Johnny who has gone back to Taiwan. Just Hung and Winnie keep partnering at Toowong. It was a scorching high noon with temperature shooting up to over 33C. Thus, the heat had played a negative factor that turned people off for any long conversation. Nevertheless, under such hardship background, God still let us to have nonstop conversations with people of all nations, i.e. Serbia, India x 2, Mongolia, local Aussie, Mainlander Chinese x 4. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) First was a lady from Sichuan, , we connected immediately when she knew I had been the earth quake disaster relief team in Sichuan. It was a pity there was not much time for gospel, but she was happy to take a tract with a briefing of the nutshell of the Gospel when the bus arrived.
2) Pac is from Serbia but have been in Australia for 20 years. He is a Christian but not church going. Upon testing he was diagnosed lack full assurance of salvation. He appreciated for my explanation. I recommended him further to join activity of power to change to boost his spiritual life again.
3) Then I approached a tall girl from North Eastern China. She was opened and willing to interact even on religious issues.
4) Then I approached a "girl" but noticed that she has a male voice. "she" anyway was on the phone but was still polite enough to let me know she is not available for chat for the time being.
5) Then I caught up with a man from Jiang So small town. He basically was also receptive to the gospel message.
6) Bateman is from Mongolia doing undergrad. He said he heard the gospel before but he is more in favour for Buddhism. I asserted to him Buddhism and all other religions are good but none can address the issue of sin. He took a tract after we finished and the bus came.
7) Covina is an Indian of Hinduism background. He though being a good person is fine enough and was surprised to know that it is not good enough to wipe clean our sin. He is opened to listen the full gospel.
8 ) Then I approached a young man from Luoyang, Henan China . He was welcoming and receptive initially, but the scorching high noon sun just dried up his patience so I could only left him with the tract.
9) At the end I connected with another Indian Pahoa who was a willing listened but again the heat of the scorching sun got him flatted out. He was too tired to continue on the gospel sharing. So, we finally let go and finished for the day.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Nov 8th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Today was the last day Johnny was to serve with us at Toowong as he will leave for Taiwan on Friday till February next year. By the grace of God, both Johnny and Winnie got many chances to share the Gospel while I had mixed result to have a few long and fruitful chat but also straight rejections or initial reluctance. Recap below is my Battle Log.
1) A person from Taiwan just got the tract as the bus came
2) Rejected by two
3) Caught up with a Local mature Aussie who was not religious but still opened enough for discussion and took a tract.
4) Rejected by an elderly lady with excuse having a cold.
5) Approached two ABC whose parents are from mainland. They were still ok to have a chat with nutshell of the gospel shared.
6) Thomas is from , China?who had met both Johnny and me recently. I had a long chat to follow up on his understanding of the message we shared last time and explained in the tract. He studied IT at UQ and I asked him to feedback if he found any loophole in the logic of the gospel that we shared and he agreed that it is all sensible and logical and showed great willingness to pursuit.
7) Then I was led to approach an elderly Aussie man with army background wearing a poppy flower. Thanks God allowing enough time for me to use many Army analogies to finish the gospel that otherwise he would have rejected using excuse of not a religious man.
8 ) Last but not the least a caught up with a man from Suzhou who initially rejected to chat as we had many chat before and he thought he had heard enough. But the Spirit softened his heart and ended up revising once again the gospel message with a receptive attitude showing his full understanding of the message I repeated this time.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Nov 1st, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was yet another amazing day full of amazing grace. After one full bright sunny day yesterday for a Brisbane historic and cultural tour,
there were overnight storm lingering the whole morning while we was doing Bible study. But the sky suddenly turned dry again good for street outreach. Yet spiritually, it was a day full of despise and rejection. However, God's grace was sufficient for us to keep doing our job in a steadfast manner. We were unmerited people but God still used us to convey His blessing to people He elected to stop and listened to the gospel. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) The first I approached was a girl from Mainland. She rejected the gospel with a big gesture like facing electric strike bouncing off dramatically.
2) Then I was led to approach a big guy Locky from Melbourne who listened attentively with a smile and took a tract at the end
3) I was led to connect with an Indigenous people from Carine but not yet a Christian. He was interested to know my past involvement with the indigenous people in the outback as such he showed great receptiveness to the same gospel that have already evangelized his own people.
4) Another two rejections. One is an Aussie and one from mainland China.
5) Then I was led to connect with a couple from Xian西安夫婦,who were amazed to find out I visited their home town on a mission. So we started a chat with interactions and finally, Gospel was shared. God obviously must have a plan for them.
7) Lydia from Jie Jiang 浙江,who claimed we chatted before. I asked if she understood the purpose or message of the tract then she could not fully articulate so it gave me the reason to revise the gospel all over again with her until the bus came.
8 ) Then I followed up on a lady who declined to chat with Johnny. I tried a softer approach asking her where about in China. She only indicated she is from the middle kingdom of China ä¸åŽŸ which I guess is Henan Changzhou.,河å—é„å·ž. Eventually she got a tract when the bus came to end our casual chat.
9) Then I caught up with a young man from Czechoslovakia æ·å…‹. But I could only manage to give him a tract 單張 as his bus just arrived.
10) The I faced yet another two rejections by first two mainland girls and then one Aussie longhair young man.
11) Finally, I chatted with a Church going old man, but I did not have time to test his faith status and assurance of salvation.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Oct 25th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Praise be to God that the weather turned fine after a round of early morning rain. As usual, Johnny , Winnie and Hung teamed up to reach out to mainly UQ students at the Bus Stop 14. We skipped the rush hours with people lining up in long queue for the several bus to come to pick them up. After that, the inflow of people returned to normal, which is just good fit for us to quickly finish the gospel sharing. There were as usual people that we met before. Some like to keep on with a follow up chat, some may say it is enough for the time being. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) Ah Fai 阿è¼ï¼Œfrom Hong Kong, recognized me immediately telling me that he met me the first day he arrived at Brisbane to UQ. He said he really had no interest to discuss this issue at the moment possibly because of the pressure of study. Nevertheless, I change the approach to let him talk more about his new life here and subtlely returned to the gospel life issue which he showed interest to listen on.
2) Another local Aussie Girl also said she chatted with me before and was not interested to go over them again. I anyway still managed to drag on a short while to leave some reinforcement of the gospel message.
3) Then I turned to two girls possibly Filipino who both took the tracts but showed great indifference. I nevertheless still finished the sharing of the nutshell of the Gospel.
4) An African man who got the tract but declined to chat possibly was occupied with some personal matter.
5) Nina an Indonesia girl who also recognized me right away. I was excited to share with her about the Tin Ore refinery project that God is calling Eric to engage and used it as platform for cross cultural frontier mission.
6) Tim an Australian Born Vietnamese who was very receptive to the Gospel message. His parent came to Australia at young age so, they are both very opened minded people as such Tim also appeared very open to gospel message.
7) Oliver a Cambodia young men who also appeared open minded and receptive to gospel and willing to take a selfie photo with me.
8 ) Jeffrey is from Hong Kong and quickly identified himself as Christian and indicated he is also joining Power to Change. He said he is a new convert but I nevertheless still checked on his assurance of salvation which he failed. I took the liberty to clarify the concept and theology for him.
9) Lastly, I approached a Singaporean Youngman who claimed he has no interest in religious issues. I still chatted with him for a long time about his life and his experience of serving 2 years as army. I still managed to chip in a lot of gospels message in our conversation.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Oct 18th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Johnny was sicked to day with a sore throat, so only Winnie and Hung teamed up to do our weekly outreach at Toowong. The pattern of divine encounter was more or less the same. We had to face a period of about 10 minutes with long queue at the bus stop waiting for buses to pick up and digested the long queue. We had to pick a few people at the end of the queue before the next bus arrive. After that, we on the other hand could have many pick at the bus stop amongst those waiting crowd. In general, the response rate was quite good today, with almost no blunt rejection. Most people were willing listener. At time we might have faced people with initial rejection but the Spirit generally worked overtly to soften their heart to let the conversation carry on. Another apparent change of trend is the mainlander Chinese all have become more approachable. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) Local Aussie girl listened reluctantly but I still managed to finish sharing the full gospel but at the end, she showed no interest at all but still took a tract.,
2) Another lady named Wu from Beijing appeared very interested to hear the gospel with good positive response. 胡北京樂æ„è´
3) Then I caught with a many called Sin Yui Pu fr浦星é‹om Han Chung , Xanxié™è¥¿æ¼¢ä¸ï¼Œå¾ˆæ¨‚æ„,é™è¥¿æ¼¢ä¸. He was also a revery open minder and willing listener appearing very receptive to the Gospel
4) Then God led me to approach an 80 years old long time migrant from Chung San China. He came at very young age and once moved to live in Fiji but returned to Australia. He was very talkative and appear neutral to the gospel. 馬,ä¸å±±ï¼Œæ—©ä»£æ¾³æ´²ç§»æ°‘曾去Fiji
5) Then the Spirit led me to approach a Bangladesh Muslim who initially rejected my approach but I turned the topic to appear about cultural concept then I could managed to carry on with the gospel sharing. But once I het the topic of Jesus, he suddenly turned cold hearted and become very argumentative which eventually brought the conversation to a halt.
6) Then I met a Christian girl from Shen Zhen. But I had no time to diagnosis about here assurance of salvation. She anyway bless me and bid good bye with Christian greeting of Emmanuel. 女,基ç£å¾’,深圳,以馬內利
7) The I met Tao from Changsha Hunan and I can identify with him as once a frequet visitor to Changsha serving ICC. Again he was very open to the Gospel.
8 )Last I met Yvonne and Hong Konger who immediately identified herself as Christian attending CCCCB St Lucia. I took the chance to invite her to join Kairos on Saturday as she came to be the accompany family member for her child to study here. Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Oct 11th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was yet another day of outreach ministry as usual. The three of us Johnny, Winnie and Hung teamed up to get hold of the divine encounter/appointment that God had arranged for us. For Johnny he met 5 previous gospel targets whom he met previously and all of them in turn approached Johnny for a chat. So, the work of God in all their hearts are all apparent. For Hung, I also had chance to caught up with someone before including from Myanmar, Winnie is very gifted in getting chats and selfie pictures afterwards. Recap below is the battle log of Hung.
1) James is a local Aussie who was very opened to the gospel with a receptive attitude. He appreciated my sharing with him.
2) I was over joy to meet Hi Har from Yangon, Myanmar again. I greeted him with the Burmese custom "Mingallaba" when handing out something to a person. He was happy to catch up with me as a friend of Myanmar. He actually came in 2016 as such his time in Australia is quite long making him a more open-minded person. He did have heard the gospel before, but my sharing renewed and deepened his understanding about God the Father and Jesus our Saviour. He appeared receptive to the message and showed willingness to pursue the gift of eternal life created by Gd for each and every one of us the sinner cross-culturally. He was happy to take a photo with me to remember this divine encounter.
3) Then I approached a mature adult from Kent, of England. I could easily identify with him as an UMIST students in Manchester. He seemingly is a Atheist but still was polite to listen my full gospel sharing.
4) Then I was led to approach two Aussie girls with dyed hair. They appeared very friendly and were interactive to the gospel sharing.
5) Then I caught up with another local Aussie girl Anson. She quickly declared herself a Christian and passed my diagnosis 2 questions test of her assurance of Salvation which perfectly showing she has 100% assurance of salvation.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Oct 4th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was a hard day that both Winnie and Hung hardly had got a full gospel sharing with our targets. It was either disrupted by the quick arriving bus or interfered by intentionally Gospel haters. Johnny seemed to be a bit better off getting more long conversation but mostly with people he met before and was taking initiative to reconnect and chat with him. No matter under whatever circumstances, it was still the sovereign Will of God to let thing happened the way it was for the benefit of those who are chosen to love and serve him. We just be patient and submissive to do His Will as He guided us along the way. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) I first picked the big guy at the end of the long queue for the bus. He simply sat down to wait for the next bus. So I was able to catch up with him as asked if he is from a minor tribe of China like the Uyghur看似新疆ç¶å¾çˆ¾äºº, but to my surprise, he is a pure Han man from Guangzhou.廣州,. He was friendly and willing to chat but anther bus just arrived to get him away. He willing took a tract anyway.
2) Then I approached another girl from China. She was also a willing listener but the same fate as the previous one that her bus arrived to cut our conversation short and she also willingly took a tract.
3) Then I approached a Girl with ear speaker. She excused my approach as she was on the phone but still took a tract to read.
4) Then I approached a tall Aussie girl who listened the longest time for the nutshell of the gospel and took the tract when the bus arrived.
5) Then I caught up with a big guy who is a Korean Christian but lack assurance. he attends Korean church in the city. So it was a pity the bus quick arrival did not allow me to clarify further.
6) Then I approached an Indian girl who was originally quite a welcoming listener, but she seemingly was irritated by the issue of sin and that Hinduism worship multiple god heads so she chose to end the conversation and left without a tract.
7) Next I caught up with a girl from Xian西安。 who is also a willing listener, she has many Christian friends so gospel was not strange to her. She appeared to be one step closer to salvation.
8 ) Then I met another Indian who was also friendly and willing to listen and took a tract afterwards.
9) I approached a Muslim dressed lady that I thought she is from Indonesia but actually she is from Singapore. She initially did not reject to chat but I was interrupted before long by a self-righteous Aussie girl to stop our chat pretending, they are friends and wanted to chat amongst themselves.
10) Finally I met yet another Indian man of more mature age. He was also opened to chat and even asked me when did I became a Christian and started doing street outreach. Seemingly he is impressed by our faithfulness to serve God.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Sep 27th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
It was a comparatively quiet day at least for Hung. There were not enough people flow coming to the bus stop and stayed long enough for a meaningful a fruitful chat. I anyway gave up more chances to Johnny and Winnie first whenever people arrived. So, they basically still had quite some divine opportunities for an effective sharing. Recap below is however my meagre chances that mostly could not end up with a complete gospel sharing occasion.
1) My first approach to an Indian girl was rejected. I however asked Winnie to have another go in case she did not want to chat with a man, but still Winnie faced same rejection.
2) Then I caught with a Christian from Hong Kong who has just come for 2 months. Even though he quickly identified himself as Christian, but I still could not beat the bus arrival as such could not carry out the test for assurance of salvation. 香港基ç£å¾’來2月
3) Then my third target I approached was on the phone while I was about to start conversation with him. So, the chat was cut but he still was willing to take a tract.
4) Then I caught up with another Chinese student who claimed that he has got a tract from his UQ friend. Yet he cannot explain to me what message he has got from the tract. When I was about to supplement, the bus arrival again cut the conversation off right away. ä¸åœ‹äººæ‹¿éŽå–®å¼µï¼Œä¸èƒ½è§£é‡‹ï¼Œå‰›é–‹è©±é¡Œ
5) Then another lady from Quanzhou China who looks friendly initially but asked me to wait for her to answer all the emails. I waited for 3 to 4 minutes and tried to start the sharing but then she started to play trick to distract me from sharing the gospel. I tried my best but she finally laughed it off and left without a tract. ä¸å›¯å»£æ±ï¼Œè‡ªç¾©ï¼Œå˜²ç¬‘,照講,ä¸ä»¥ç‚ºç„¶ã€‚
6) Then a Croatia middle age woman asking for direction to take the right number of bus to UQ to meet her partner who works there. I gave her the needed advice but still not earning the chance to share, she bluntly rejected any more conversation on the gospel, so I kept chatting in casual way trying to find another chance to chip in the gospel message. It was failed finally up till the arrival of the bus.
7) Finally, I approached a Filipino lady who was busy in using the smart phone on some errand. Thanked God at least she took a tract to read afterwards,

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday Sep 20th, 2022 from 1330 – 1500
Even though we come every Tuesday to this same bus stop around the same time to do gospel outreach, we still face new challenges every time. For instance, we started facing a long queue when we arrived around 1335 a month ago when the Uni resume semester running. The queue was long and the waiting time was used to be long, we could at least pick up one or two even three to chat before the bus came. But today, the Bus came quicker and together, so the long queue had quickly been cleared with all people boarding the two buses in swift orderly manner, we simply can't get any conversation started or just in time for a brief highlight and handing out a tract. After the long queue was digested, we started to be able to catch up with people in between other bus arriving schedule. Basically, the average time allowed to share was just 3 to 5 minutes time. Despite of all these constraints, we still managed to have some interesting and fruitful conversations as recap below for Hung:
1) First it was Sha a Muslim young man from Singapore. He is opened and show no resistance to listen to the gospel and even gave a thumb up to it at the end.
2) The I turned left to chat with Shen from 江蘇 Nanjing. She was also extraordinary opened for religious chat despite she is not yet a believer.
3) Joker a Spanish born in Germany but was brought up in Madras. I greeted him with a few of my limited Spanish gaining his acceptance for further chat. He claimed to be a Christian but has become skeptical when he learns more about sciences. The Spirit moved me to use the 6 days creation account to demonstrate that it was all possible and logical for God to change the lifeless and dark status of the earth to what it looks like today. He was convinced again that the Bible is telling true story from God's perspective to train and save His elected people.
4) Then I turned to a girl from Arizona, USA by the name of Chole. She quickly identified herself as a Catholic Christian when the bus came. I was moved by the Spirit to still ask for her assurance of salvation which she gave me a correct and quick answer of 100.%. It was rare for Catholic Christian to have such clear understanding of the gospel and salvation.
5) Rejected by a Chinese man trying to pretend he does not understand Chinese.
6) Sam a local Aussie claimed he had heard before and grabbed a tract. But he was interested to know more.
7) Lina, a modernized Singaporean girl was hesitant initially, but ok the Spirit calm her down to take a relax mode to listen to the gospel for the first time. She showed good receptiveness to the message.
8 ) Shaun a Malaysia Chinese who could speak 7 languages and was happy to chat with me in Mandarin or even in Cantonese. He is not yet a Christian but again he appeared open to listen to the gospel and showed good comprehension about the salvation message is repent to receive Christ as Saviour.
