Well, it’s been nearly 3 months since my last report. I haven’t missed writing them! It’s been nice being on the streets and not having to think of taking pictures. And I’ve really enjoyed the extra time responding to direct messages online.
But, I’ve decided to write a quick report just so y'all know we are still busy sharing the gospel in Christchurch and online! And I actually have a few things worth mentioning. We really, really appreciate all the prayer and support.
So, since I last wrote we have been in a Covid lockdown. Sad to have Delta land on these shores. The time wasn’t wasted as I just focused all my energy into online outreach. Yet after about 4 weeks, the lockdown was eased to the point where street work was possible again.
My first outreach back was a Sunday afternoon. I came prepared with my face mask, and flip chart, giving people the option of approaching me rather than the other way round. I wondered if anyone would. Most people were wearing masks, and to my surprise the outreach was quite fruitful. I can’t remember the specifics now, but I was encouraged!
I continued the street work. People have become less concerned about face masks - but I still wear one.
There are quite a few newbies on the street team. This has given a lot of opportunities for training - which has been great!
A couple of Friday’s ago, it was school holidays, and there were swarms of people out on a warm, sunny spring day. I was pretty non stop taking people through the flip chart with lots of newbies to observe and be encouraged.
Plenty of gospel tracts are going out too.
Last Friday there weren't as many people out, in spite of the good weather. I decided to switch spots and low and behold the rest of the outreach became eventful. I had three follow up opportunities. In one of them, the guy could only remember the ‘straw’ part of the ‘trust’ analogy. He was resistant, and yet he really wanted to chat. And he had a friend with him who I haven’t talked to before - so he got to hear the gospel.
Amazingly, the guy started talking about healing. He said that his ankle had been ‘smashed’, and that his Dad had prayed for it’s healing - and it was! But do you know what he said? “It was a coincidence - it wasn’t God”. It just goes to show that John 12:37 (ESV) is true:
Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him,
His only hope is the gospel, Romans 1:16 (ESV):
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
So I continued to labour with these young men toward their understanding of the gospel, many checks were employed.
A couple of weeks ago, in Riccarton, I had shared the gospel with 3 guys from a local high school. I had to labour with them to get them to stop thinking their good deeds would get them to heaven, and realise that Jesus was their only hope. It was a great chat.
Well, yesterday, I was in Riccarton with Roger. It was windy, so I didn’t bring my flip chart. I had some great walk up opportunities. Roger did bring his flip, and every time I came back down to where he was, he had a different group of high school kids talking with him! The first time was 3 guys, the next there were about another 6 guys intently listening to him.
Eventually we were able to greet each other, before another high school kid wanted to know what the flip chat was about. I talked with him, while Roger had a chat with a lady pushing a pram (Roger gets away with talking to people who won’t stop with me! I reckon it’s his Santa look - haha - love ya Roger!).
But after the kid I was talking to left with a tract, 2 of the guys I had talked to a few weeks back came past again - they had a new friend with them (pictured).
I checked to see if they could remember the gospel - they got it right! I was super encouraged to hear one of them had been reading a Bible, and they had checked out needGod.net on Tik Tok. One of them made a comment about one of the videos he watched - he was impressed.
Interestingly, their new friend was a Christian. I checked if he understood the gospel. Sadly, he was clueless. He said he would go to heaven because he goes to church. He insisted he was ‘a good person’ multiple times. His mates wanted him to go through the flip chart, and so he agreed. But he was switched off, and his two mates had to prompt him with the answers.
Eventually he said, “I know Jesus died on the cross” - but it was an afterthought, and he wasn’t making any connections with its significance. Eventually he said he had ‘prayed the prayer’ with his Mum. It pained me to hear him say it.
He had to leave, but he took a tract. And I had an opportunity to encourage the other two kids, who seem to be grasping the gospel, in relation to getting involved with a church. I told them how they could get in touch, and left the ball in their court. I hope to see them again!
Speaking of church, it’s been encouraging seeing some of those we are talking with online getting involved with local churches (see images of chat snippets). Of course, most are rejecting the gospel, but seeing the few responding is so encouraging. And no matter what, God is glorified: in his justice being displayed, in his mercy granted, and in the obedience of those who GO with the good news.
So, I think that covers everything I wanted to touch on. If you made it this far, well done! Come and join one of the teams on the streets or online - we would love to serve you :D

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday Oct 19, 2021 from 1330 to 1500
The weather forecast failed again predicting a rainy day but ended up with a scorching sunny afternoon. It anyhow matches with our passion to share the Gospel to as many people as possible within the limited time frame. All of us focused more on gospel sharing as such we could take less pictures than usual. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -
1. Ed, the big boy tried to avoid me first claiming he is not a religious person, but I rightly said the tract is not about a religious but life issue. The Spirit did change his attitude to listen patiently and turned humble to admit every one needs Jesus as there is no perfect person in this world. Pray that this new enlightenment to Ed will help him to keep perusing God.
2. Then I approached a lady who also rejected to chat. The Spirit anyway helped me to be a pleasant person to keep the chat on. She anyway claimed herself a Philosophy student as such she thought she already master the truth and does not need God. I could only manage to share her the nutshell of the Gospel before the bus arrived.
3. Joshua quickly declared himself a Christian. He did pass my test to show 100% assurance of salvation by trusting in Jesus alone.
4. Jackson a very pleasant and talkative guy. He was open to the gospel and listened very attentively. He agreed that a typical good person is still not perfect enough to earn the eternal life but has to trust in Jesus alone.
5. Jordan is a very nice girl. She was open for a chat but claimed she was once a Christian but was driven away from church because of bad Christian witness. I shared her feeling and agreed that the loss of younger generation is a common phenomenon due to the older generation did not show compatible life witness to what they preach and teach. I confessed no one Christian can claim perfect and by grace God let us make mistakes and learn from it to grow up toward maturity and perfection. I encouraged her to refocus on God Himself to experience His transformation power in her life. I appealed to her to overcome the Jordan river in her heart that became a barrier to prevent her to take possession of the promised land. She felt enlightened and greatly encouraged and was more than happy to take a selfie photo with me.
6. James claimed he got a tract before but cannot feedback his comment on this tract. So, I asked for permission to go through the gospel message again with him. He appeared fully convinced this time and was also greatly encouraged by my testimony that despite of life-threatening bladder cancer, I have no fear or worry but rather having new sense of urgency to share the gospel within the rest of my life which is numbered in God’s hand.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 13/10/2021 from 1300 to 1500
Gary re-joined Johnny and Hung today at Sunnybank after spending time with family during the school holiday. He even came earlier to set up a new sign he made on the East side of the pedestrian bridge. Johnny and Hung joined him first in the East side for an opening prayer. Then we returned to the bus stop on the West side. Gary came over to join us for a while in the West side before he finished for the day. Basically, all of us had considerable number of chats with mixed result. After all, God reigned and the gospel message has been passed on to many non-believers and assurance of salvation be reinstated for many nominal Christians. Recap below are the battle log of Hung:
1) Young Aussie girl was too rush to stop for a chat. She anyway accepted my tract and listened for a short while the core of the gospel.
2) A catholic lady was also in a rush but she let me chat with her while we walk. She seemed to have good understanding of gospel knowing that it is by grace through faith in Jesus alone as her brother is a Catholic Priest.
3) Megan not Religious but have a good chat with a brief sharing of my personal testimony.
4) Then I chatted with a Chinese middle age lady who claimed to be a Buddhist. I identify with her that all religions are good but not good enough for us to earn our eternal life salvation by good deeds alone. She is a willing listener and agreed to read the tract and ponder on the gospel message shared to her. ä¸åœ‹ä¸å¹´å©¦å¥³ä½›æ•™ï¼Œé¡˜è½
5) A group of people all with Tattoo came and I picked up one to chat. He tried to fence me off by claiming himself an atheist. I did not argue with him or tried to prove if God exist but simply shared the gospel with him. He appeared not settled to listen on as his friends are coming to meet. God anyway moved him to take a tract before they all left the bus stop. 紋身無神論,ä¸é¡˜èŠï¼Œä½†æ‹¿äº†å–®å¼µ
6) Mrs Liu another Mainlander but was humble to listen to the gospel until the bus came. 劉,大陸,客氣è½
7) Zag an aborigine man possibly with his mum. He tried to fence me of by declaring non-religious. But I could identify with him with my AMOS experience. We became more mutually acceptance when he told me his father is actually a Chinese from Hongkong core of the gospel Father is from Hong Kong. At the end, he heard the full Gospel before the bus arrived.
8 ) A Cambodia girl with excellent English and is studying at JMC Academy, a private college on communication and media. She was very friendly and talkative so I did not have enough time to finish the gospel but left her with the tract as the bus came just too fast.
9) Then God led me to have a long chat with Mrs Li from Hong KongæŽå¤ª , she came 30 years ago but returned to Hong Kong intermittently yet finally she returned to settle down in Australia again first in Sydney but then moved to Brisbane 1 year ago.香港三å年來去,God gave me time to finish the gospel message and went on to sharing my testimony and even my current status that I have peace despite of health issue.人生難料，信主æ‰æ˜¯è¬å…¨. She seemed to be greatly impressed with the joy and peace manifested in my life attitude.
10) Girl watch smart phone all the time and missed the chance to have a chat. 看手機ä¸åœï¼ŒéŒ¯éŽ
11) Emily a girl from Vietnam who appeared friendly despite she was interrupted by me from listening to music and went on with a very meaningful chat sharing the full gospel before the bus arrived.

Operation 513 battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday 12/11/2021 from 1330 to 1500
Praise and thanks God we had a team of three, Johnny, Winnie and Hung to serve at Toowong. God’s grace was sufficient that the street outreach was not obstructed by intermittent light dripping rain. We all had reasonable chances to share the Gospel with most being a short one but still with some longer ones that produced good fruit bearing feedback. Winnie might be having the most number of contact in terms of times and head counts as she did share with group of people in one go. Recap below are my gospel sharing battle log: -
1) Angelina a local Brisbane girl who quickly declared herself a Christian but appeared unclear about gospel and lack of 100% assurance of salvation. After going through the whole gospel message, she finally came to the correct understanding that as a sinner, she needed to face judgment after death. But as soon as she show a repentant heart to accept Jesus as her personal Saviour, letting Jesus to take her place to receive the eternal hell of fire punishment, she is granted back the heavenly citizenship right away by means of Jesus as her mediator. The work of Jesus is 1005 effective as such she should have 100% of assurance. She was thankful for this clarification.
2) Clarissa is a middle-aged local Aussie lady. She asked me bluntly why do we want to do this on the street and if we are paid to do so. She seemed to be an old fashion church goer as such she said should Christian be concentrating in serving inside their mother church, doing tithing and all other church programs rather than spending time on the street doing seemingly fruitless work. I clarified to her that I am a pastor but I did not choose to stay and wait inside my church but rather venture out to share the gospel to people of all nations which is the mandate ministry of every Christians not just limited to the pastor. She still found it beyond belief but was moved to take a tract to understand what is the message we desperately want to share to all people.
3) A young Chinese by the name Yang 楊 is actually an ABC, his parents were from Guangzhou 父æ¯å»£å·ž but they never brought him to attend any Chinese language class as such his preferred language was English. Initially he did not want to chat as he had taken a tract before and read it yet fi nd no inspiration. æ‹¿éŽçœ‹éŽï¼ŒBut after I went through the whole gospel message with him , he turned all positive and receptiveèªåŒ to the concept of the gospel. He promised to seriously consider to take his step of faith to accept Jesus.
4) An Elderly Man was kind and nice to have a chat. Yet his bus came too early too quick but he still willingly took a track to read.
5) Lisa another local Aussie Christian girl who has 100% of assurance of salvation in response to q1. No time to cross check q2. Just pray that she is all good in term of full understanding of God’s salvation package described in 2 Cor 1:10.
6) Finneran an young Aussie girl. She is a non-believer but appeared very attentive and receptive to the gospel message. Pray that she will be moved to take the step of faith to receive Christ as her saviour.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Oct 6th 2021 from 1300 to 1500
It was still a warm early Spring but temperature already dropped to a pleasant level for open air outreach. It was still just Johnny and Hung teaming up to serve at the bus stop on the west side of the China Town complex near Sunnybank Plaza.
God started today with a test for us to have genuine compassion for homeless people who are at their most vulnerable status losing every personal possession but the worst is without hope to strive on to live as a human. Johnny started early before we met and pray to minister to Mit who was in obvious down and troubled mood with a reddish eye and a swollen foot. Johnny did his best to try to get the gospel message through but Mit was in no mood to listen kept trying to seek empathy of his miserable status. Johnny could not pick up fully his expression so had to let go and switch to another gospel target. God however moved me to have a second go to minister to Mit. After listening to his status, I first gave some suggestion to address some of his urging issue like replacing his lost driving license, then his credit card. I also made sure he did not miss the hospital follow up medical treatment on his infected foot. I identify with his current devastating status that need to start from zero. In the meantime, I reminded him not to lose sight of the more important eternal salvation but I did not dwell on this critical point but rather ended our conversation with a hearty prayer for him in the name of Christ to have mercy on him leading him out from the current wilderness dark night experience moment of his life. I then left him for another conversation and not later, I found he disappeared possibly got on a bus to make his first difficult step of rehabilitation of his ruined life.
After that, Johnny and Hung kept leading by the Spirit to make approach to the chosen ones and at time with complementary team work to refer gospel target to each other who speak the dialect. The Spirit also worked amongst us that we may pick up some ones that had rejected one of us but without our knowledge yet made it a successful second approach. In hint sight, it was all the credit of God’s work and we are just His vessel to do His Good Work as per Eph 2:10.
Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -
1) Mitchell is from Canberra with wife and children living at Caloundra. He lost all his possession at QE II during his hospitalization to treat his infected left foot. It landed him in award situation without identity, money and credit card. As described above I ended up praying for him with a hope to let him feel the love and care of God so as to reignite his hope to live.
2) Jack a middle age man from mainland ä¸åœ‹å¤§é™¸. He was very talkative and a willing listener. He is not yet a believer but actually has been church going with many Christian friends. 很èªåŒï¼Œæœ‰åŽ»æ•™æœƒ. At the end he admitted the gospel I shared seemed very sensible, logical and acceptable. Just pray that God can remove the last barrier for him to make the last step of faith very soon.
3) Then the man I approached claimed he is a Marxist 馬克æ€ä¸»ç¾©è€…and a member of the CCP姓黨,He was not totally rejective claiming even CCP allow religious freedom ä¿¡ä»°è‡ªç”±ï¼Œç¹¼çºŒèŠ we kept chatting allowing me to share the core of the gospel to him and left it to God to do the rest.
4) Then I approach Mrs Yang from Mainland China. She was with her daughter so I started by giving the tracts to her daughter who likes the cartoon pictures. It earned me a chance for a long chat that appeared to be quite successful to get her admit the gospel message is all good and needed by everyone. 楊&女大陸願æ„è½
5) Mr Wong is an elderly man from Hong Kong for 20 years. He was referred to me by Johnny. As Hongkongers, we can identify with each other very well and the gospel message was passed on well, 王香港è€äººå®¶ä¾†20å¹´
6) Louis is from Brazil and appeared to be a very willing listener. It was good that I could share full gospel to him in time before the bus arrived. Have to leave the result to God.
7) Then I caught up with another Hongkonger Mr Chu. He looked much older than his age of 59. 朱59 攪笑。He kept interjecting while I shared the gospel for instance, who were those bad Guys in the gospel tract. To my surprise, he knew none of them. Anyway, I could only manage to share half the Gospel when the bus arrived.
8 ) Then I was rejected bluntly by an English-speaking man,but God had a plan B to move Johnny to make an 2nd approach with success.
9) I turned to another girl who was determined to say she had no need for the Gospel. I challenge was he so sure about issue of life eternity. She insisted then I let go.
10) Finally, another non-religious guy simply refused to chat or took a tract. It did not bother me a bit. As it is always God who is in full control.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 from 1330 to 1500
It was a very warm Spring afternoon with temperature scorching high to around 32C, just a bit lower than 37C yesterday. There were also only Johnny and Hung with Winnie absent for a medical appointment. It nevertheless did not hamper the work of God through us. Both of us had consecutive divine conversation that we hardly had chance to take photo for each other. For my battle log sake, all I could do is a quick shot before or after the conversation from the back. Today, many gospel targets claimed to be Christians but none of them has clear understanding of gospel and all have no assurance of salvation. Pray that the gospel message we shared to either non-believers or Christians will give them a boost in their journey of faith. Recap below are the highlight of the gospel conversation: -
1) Brodie a local Aussie claimed to be a Christian but has only 70% assurance.
2) A Filipino man rejected the gospel and tract.
3) Kyla and Mina are both Christians from PNG, but both have no idea at all about God’s salvation plan and whether they are qualified for Heaven.
4) Imagens claimed herself non-religious, but she cannot find any loophole in the gospel message but admit that it is all sensible and acceptable.
5) John, a QUT student yet lives in St Lucia. He is a country boy thus a typical good guy. Yet he has no idea about the gospel and I could only finish half way the core of the gospel message.
6) Peter another senior man who was reluctant to chat. But I still managed to give him a tract and briefed him the conclusion that even good persons need Jesus.
7) Alia an UQ student from Malaysia of Indian background. Yet she found the gospel sensible and attracting. She promised to read the tract and ponder seriously to accept Jesus as Saviour.
8 ) Kathy another UQ student from Singapore. She is yet another Christian who is not sure of her assurance salvation.
9) Wendy an UQ student from mainland China. She was exceptionally objective and open to chat and also reached the conclusion that Jesus is the only way for us sinners to be saved.
10) Ella a local Aussie UQ student is again a Christian but did expose her status after I finished the gospel. Yet she also had been diagnosed without assurance of salvation. I urged her to seek association with Power to Change to get her spiritual journey started for growth.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday 28/9/2021 from 1330 to 1500
It was a gloomy and comparatively quiet day with much less people flow. The three of us Johnny, Winnie and Hung still managed to looked upon God to find us the gospel targets. Johnny and Winnie were both as diligent as usual kept making approach irrespective of many initial rejections. As for me, I only got three meaning conversation all are Chinese. But one is an ABC and two from mainland China. Both show rare willingness to chat and share most possibly I could identify with their home town where I paid visit many years ago. I also met Lucy Lee, the graduate of the 5th Online Kairos and a candidate of full-time missionary of Power to Change. It was great she recognized me in mask and shared about her need to raise enough financial support before she can join as a full-time worker. She has got 30% already and let pray for God’s timely provision to make her be accepted as a full-time ministry with Power to Change as soon as possible.
First, I approach a Chinese looking lady by the name of Teresa. She however is an ABC or ABV with Chinese parents and ancestor as such we have to communicate in English. She was talkative, friendly and receptive to the Gospel.
Then, I caught up with Frank from Nanjing, Jiang So 江蘇å—京,he is in year 3 and was a very good listener and willing communicator. I even had time to share my personal testimony how I turned to God after many test and trial that God had put into my life and career development in the CH Tung Group. Pray that the message I shared with him will bear fruit of salvation in His time.
Mr Wang王 from Lanzhou is still a member of the Chinese Communist Party. That was the reason he used to excuse himself from turning Christ even though he knew there are churches in his home city. Anyway, I first befriended with him about things and food in Lanzhou. I did eat Lanzhou Beef Noodle yesterday at Garden City but the quality is of no match with the genuine Lanzhou beef ramen in home town. I shared about the unforgettable experience of crossing the Yellow River on the sheep skin bubble raft and the chilling feeling of dipping my feet in the icy river current. Then God gave me enough time to share the Gospel and invited him to consider to trust in Jesus as his saviour to remove all fear in his life. He looked very impressed and moved to make this last step of faith in any time soon , as led by the Spirit.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Sept 22, 2021 From 1300 -1500
The windy weather died down today but a spiritual whirlwind sprouted up with spiritual warfare attack from all directions. It was reflected in the gospel targets we met. For Johnny, he had an apologetic exchange with a charismatic background Christian who happened to intrude into the mission field where Johnny and I were working at the Bus stop on the West side of the Sunnybank shopping complex. He was sensitive to the biased theology of the charismatic background Christian trying to show him that speaking in tongues is not a necessarily condition for some one to be saved. Yet this particular person even unknowingly exposed himself as some one who denied the efficacy of Jesus’ redemptive & atoning grace that more conditions must be met like speaking in tongues on top of what Eph 2:8-9 stated clearly that we are saved by grace through faith, it is not out of ourselves but it is the gift of God, and it is not out of our good deeds, so that no one will boast.
As for me I face a few spiritual attacks. First, while I was sharing the gospel to a young student, an English-speaking woman was watching besides us. Initially I thought she is a friend or guardian of this Local Aussie young boy. But actually, she is unrelated. She put up with my sharing with the young one for a moment but finally exploded with threatening word that I have no right to share gospel to this young boy. Of course, I did not check and possibly we all never did so to check the age of the gospel target. The boy himself was a very willing listener. He had very positive response to the gospel and even agreed with me that it is not about age or race that every one should need Jesus. He showed great receptiveness to accept Jesus as his saviour. Perhaps this agitated the dark side of this possible God hater lady to step up her intervention of our gospel conversation. At this time the bus came so we had anyway to end our conversation. So, I managed to take a photo of the back of the boy while he got on to the bus as a record of my battle log of our conversation. Yet in effect, that was not his bus so they stayed put at the bus stop. But that unhappy lady possibly spotted me taking photo of that young boy. She urged him to ask me to delete the photo. The young boy of course was pushed by that unrelated lady to check if I did take his photo. He actually was neutral to that and I of course made no argument but deleted the photo. Anyhow, I can only entrust this young boy to the hand of God to let the gospel seed still be planted and take positive effect despite of this spiritual Warfare attack.
Then God let me have a couples of good effective conversation with both a non-believer from Hongkong, then a Christian from Ghana which I will recap below. The second spiritual warfare attack came when I approached a Muslim from Africa. He cunningly played trick with me by asking me to give him $50 when I asked him the question if he considered himself a good person and has assurance to go to heaven because of his good deeds alone. Thanks God that the Holy Spirit signalled me right away that it was a trap. If I gave, he will laugh at me being stupid to give money to some one who may use it to buy drug. If I refused, he can blame you that I am not a good enough person to care for others need. So our gospel message is just lip service. I wasted no time to tell him if you do need help, I will not give you money but accompany you to buy whatever you need like a fast food meal or drink to satisfy your hunger. This Muslim guy of course could only laugh it off teasing himself to put up a test for me. He tried to down play the status and work of Jesus saying he was merely a good prophet after Mohamad who is the highest prophet for God. I then asked if he knew the reason Jesus had to come and what he had done for all human? He of course cannot deny the work of Jesus dying for all of us on the cross and went to hell defeating Satan, conquering the dark power of death, and taking the places of all sinners who are willing to repent and accept Jesus as their savour. I asked the Muslim guy did you object to this historical and biblical truth about Jesus and he said no. Then I asked him if Mohammad did likewise to provide an effective redemptive salvation with 100% atoning effect to us by dying for us. He of course say no. So I told him, I don’t care how and where you put Jesus as a prophet or not, if he is behind Mohammad but actually Jesus was born before Mohammad. I only need you agree and accept Jesus as the only Saviour for all sinners. The Holy Spirit had been working along side and had changed the attitude and manner of this initially arrogant man but softened his heart to at least having a rational and sensible dialogue with me. At the end, he seemed to have turned into a friend rather than a foe and took a selfie with me to signify the work of the Holy Spirit and the glory of God helping me to fence off wave after wave of Spiritual warfare attack from within and without.
Summarized are the main conversations I had today which was cut short because of all the spiritual warfare taking place.
1) A very aggressive English speaking woman interfering my gospel sharing with a young boy at the Bus stop as elaborated above.
2) Paul is from Hong Kong who has just graduated from Uni and is about to return to Hon Kong. 香港長談I asked him why he chose to go back while heap of people are trying to leave Hong Kong. It set off our very long conversation and thanks God the bus did not come too early to interrupt our conversation. I did not just share the gospel but my personal testimony of salvation showing that God has a plan for each and every one of us. He rationally agreed the gospel is rational and all sensible but he opined that, faith is not a matter of facts and rational thinking activity, it is a special conviction by the supreme being, or the Holy Spirit. He felt this moment has not yet arrived but he certainly will pay good attention to catch this special moment of faith. My testimony of spending 40 years to receive Christ is a good reference of the timing of God that it is always in His hand and I can only pray that it will come the sooner the better for Paul my fellow Hong Konger.
3) Victor is a Fair dinkum Christian from Ghana who quickly was diagnosed with 100% assurance of salvation. We had very good fellowship and discussion to ask why most Christians fail to have 100% assurance of salvation. It was possibly they don’t have a complete & full understanding of the three fold deliverance of God as per 2 Cor 1:10. It was a pity I did not have time to take a selfie with this very liked minded Christian.
4) Dim a Muslim from Africa or M.E., who tried to make fun of me and Christianity but turned out to become a friend submitting to admit Jesus is the only Saviour not Mohammad the greatest Prophet even placed ahead of Jesus. For details, please referred to sharing above.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday Sep 21, 2021 from 1330 - 1500
The weather had a flip flop change from a warm early Spring back to a windy and chilly late Winter. The team of three Johnny, Winnie and Hung nevertheless still faithfully served to share the gospel at the bus stop. It seemed to be just yet another day, but every single divine encounter was full of unknown consequence not short of amazing grace for our gospel targets. The rejection rate was normal but on the low side. So we thanks God for all the positive responses that allowed us to share the gospel fully or even for just a brief beginning. Recap below were my battle log: -
1) Young Aussie lady appeared to be a good listener. But last step of introducing her to Jesus was interrupted by the bus.
2) A Man was too busy to chat but took a tract and I saw him read it as soon as he got seated on the bus.
3) Edwin an UQ student from Columbia. He quickly told me he is a Christian though of Catholic background. But he stood the test having 100% assurance of salivation as he was an active member of power to change in Columbia. He was happy to take a selfie with me.
4) Sonya an UQ student from Fiji of Hindu background but she was very responsive and receptive to the Gospel.
5) An Aussie girl from Harvey Bay who studies at QUT but came to meet her boy friend in UQ. She claimed herself a Christian from a very conservative family background but the bus arrived too quick as such I had no time to check her assurance of salvation.
6) Emily an UQ student from West Ipswich. She is a seeker and has been attending church intermittently. Her understanding and response to the gospel was very promising just in short of making a last step of faith.
7) An Aussie couple who have graduated and are both working. They also appeared quite receptive to the gospel both taking a tract to read.
8 ) I caught up with a Chinese guy but our conversation was interrupted by his sister coming to meet him up. The sister anyway took a tract as a compensation for her interruption to my conversation with her brother.
9) Mr Chung é¾ from Mainland China大陸,We had good interaction on the concept of sin. It left enough thought for him to ponder after we were apart.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 15/9/2021 from 1300 – 1500
Today, only Johnny and Hung were available for the weekly street outreach in Sunnybank. The wind had subsided and the weather was fine. But it was a comparatively bad day, especially for me. We started at the normal favorite West side Bus Stop but faced many rejections if not complete ignorance. So Johnny decided to switched to the East side where we used to serve half a year ago. Johnny had more luck and I got a few chances. Overall speaking, it was a comparatively quiet day. Nevertheless, it was not without the plan and will of God to teach us to remain faithful and preserve through harder time.
Recap below were my divine encounters: -
1) Rejected or simply ignored by an Indian man. Not even willing to take a tract.
2) Had a comparatively long chat with an old lady who claimed having got our tract before. Surprisingly she agreed that we are not perfect. But the way to go to heaven is still by doing more good work to please the God heads from her Chinese ethnic religion 天铿•™point of view. She once rejected the idea of atoning grace that non one can take our place to receive eternal punishment. I agreed because no human being is perfect so no one can take the punishment for us. But Jesus is God incarnated as the perfect human being as such He has the capacity to die for us and take our place to receive the punishment of our sins. The bus came and I can only pray for God’s further work on this old lady.
3) Then I chatted with a Chinese guy whom Johnny chatted with him last time. He was pleased to let me refresh and reinforce the gospel message to him.
4) A local Aussie rejected to chat and declined to take a tract. But I was empowered by the Spirit to keep the conversation alive with the man listening. At the end, the Spirit softened his heart to take a tract from me.
5) A Judgmental religious extremist first argued with Johnny and after a while was picked up by me on the East side. He opined that there is no good persons in the world and we are all sinners. This is theologically correct though we still deemed ordinary person without committing and convictable crime a good person. He further pushed that no one can go to heaven unless you suffered with Christ which makes the salvation conditional on our work to suffer for Christ’s sake. His theology was all confused and his religious following is unclear.
6) A Chinese Christian girl who has 100% assurance of salvation faith.
7) Emily claimed she chatted with us year ago and got a tract. So, I did follow up chat to refresh her memory which she was in full agreement.
8 ) Hannah another Christian girl who have deep faith in God. But when asked about her assurance of salvation, she failed to show 100% and not able to explained why we are saved. But with a bit of explanation, she got the perfect understanding humbly at the end with great appreciation for our chat.
