Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday August 31, 2021 from 1330 – 1500
Today was the last day of Winter but the weather readily as warm as deep Spring. It was a pity Winnie could not join us because of the lingering threat of road blockage by the protesting truckie against Govt policy on lock down and compulsory vaccination. Thus, only Johnny and Hung served today as usual. With only the two of us, both were getting busier. Hung always gave Johnny the priority to approach people so Hung could take photo. It however did not reduce Hung chance of outreach. Recap below were the 11 occasions of Divine encounter.
1) A Local Aussie boy that I did not have time to get his name as I had to rush finishing the core message of the gospel before he boarded the bus. He appeared open to the gospel message. I trust the tract will help to path the possible next encounter here.
2) Another local Aussie boy when asked was not sure if he could go to heaven. The same problem happened that I could only manage to brief about the tract when the bus came.
3) It was good I spent most time with Lawrence a middle age local Aussie lady. She was very receptive and fed back to me that the gospel message all makes good sense. I encourage her to read the tract at home and digest the message asking the Spirit to guide her to face her true self and God to make her final step of faith to receive Christ which appear so very close already.
4) A local Aussie Mum with a baby in pram chased after the bus from a long distance away. I signed the bus driver to open the door to wait for her. Even though I had no chance to hand her a tract. But I believe this action love gesture would leave an imprint in the heart of that lady more ready for another divine encounter arranged by God.
5) Joseph was a Christian. But the diagnosis of his assurance of salvation only reached 99%. Even the bus had come, I still managed to make him aware of the fact that the work of Jesus dying for us taking our place to receive the punishment of our sin fencing off the hell of hire from consuming us is 100% effective. The 1 % uncertainty is from the evil on accusing us , particularly Christian to feel inferior and still not good enough to meet God’s ultimate standard of perfection missing out the understanding that it is also God’s plan to allow us a path to grow toward perfection learning from our mistake through the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
6) Kate was an UQ student in purpose dress. It was her first time to hear about the gospel and amazingly she found it very sensible, logical and appealing. Praise and thanks for the openness and receptiveness of Kate that God will do the rest to get her closer and over the final step of faith in Christ.
7) Pilfer with her cute daughter Sharon initially took a tract from Johnny but did not show interest to chat as she had to tend for her 3 years old daughter. She took the tract actually thinking that her daughter would like the cartoon pictures on the tract. So, I picked up from there to volunteer to explain to her daughter but in effect talking to her. The conversation went well and again she found no point to negate or deny the relevance and sense making message of the Gospel. Pray for God’s redemptive work on the Mum and daughter despite she has many tattoo on her body suggesting she is of post-modern youngster deadly in need of sense of self existence.
8 ) A girl rejecting to chat initially but ended up still letting me share briefly before the bus came and took away a tract to read.
9) Vincent is an UQ student from Jei Jiang 浙冮, China who claimed that I had a chat with him before. I asked what did he find about the message of the tract , then he frankly said it was already a bit blur to remember. I took the time to go over the gospel again with him who listened attentively. I pray he will get the points clearer and better this time and we may have future chance for follow up.
10) An Indian Lady was on phone without my notice and still took a tract from me while she was listening on the phone. It must be a lead for a possible future unfinished chat liked what I just had with Vincent.
11) Then finally I approached and Asian girl in English having a brief chat before the bus came.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on 25/8/2021 Wednesday from 1300 to 1500.
We were glad to have Gary joining us as the regular Sunnybank team. He made and brought a new green Sign being set up on the East side where he used to take position to serve. Johnny and Hung took our position on the West side at the Bus stop. Sunnybank is always a mission field for Chinese mostly from mainland and some from Taiwan, there are also other Asian people like Vietnamese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean. But today I met consecutively many Cantonese from Hong Kong and a rare people group from Nepal.
The two UQ students were from Hong Kong and both have graduated looking for job. They have similar Christian background but both have slipped back from their original faith in God because of their focus was shifted on to other secure target like more time for Uni study and subsequent needs to look for job to earn more money for coming to further their study in Australia. It was a pity I did not have enough time after deeper catching up about their background to clarify with them the core Christian faith and where they have missed the point about God making the Christian faith a lower priority of their lives pursuance target.
Another significant conversation was with a girl who took our tract and had a chat with one of us. I followed up on the impact of the tract on her which unfortunately was only very trivial. I virtually went over the gospel once again and asking her to respond if she thought she is not only a good person but a perfect one that have no need to worry about God’s judgment after death. She of course could not make this assertion. So I hope I have heightened her self-awareness of her vulnerable sinful status that could only be turned around to be saved by grace through faith in Christ.
Apart from same culture evangelism, I also had chance to share gospel with people from Nepal, Vietnam. Both appeared very opened and receptive to the gospel leading them a step closer to the ultimate salvation faith.
Summarized are the 8 divine encounters:
1) A Chinese Couples 一å°è¯èªžå¤«å©¦with the wife a very determined rejecter forbidding her husband to chat and take our tract. Gary made a second approach but still failed.
2) Wai å‰ the first UQ student met from Hong Kong香港,迷失基ç£å¾’, 求主ä¿å®ˆHe once was a fervent Christian but now become a lukewarm one.
3) Vincent the 2nd UQ student I met from Hong Kong. He has also slipped back from his initial faith in Christ.
4) An elderly woman from Hong Kong香港è€å¤ªï¼Œ
5) A girl from China we chatted before.女å©ï¼Œæ”¶éŽå–®å¼µï¼Œå†è¬›ä¸€æ¬¡
6) A lady from Nepal
7) Mr So 蘇 from Taiwan surrounded by Christians but still has not yet committed to receive Christ. Johnny took over to chat with him in Taiwanese.
8 ) Crystal an Australian Born Vietnamese and her friend. Only she engaged in the gospel chat positively with genuine interest and appeared very receptive.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Tooowng on 24/8/2021 Tuesday from 1330 to 1500.
It was a very windy day, but the three regular team mates Johnny, Winnie and Hung turned up as usual for our Tuesday outreach. All the three of us got chances of sharing gospel but of course with many more rejections. But we could see the grace of God was sufficient for us to ignore the negative feeling but focus on the seed sowing divine encounter. For me, I only have three good effective encounters but the one with Anthony was a rare long conversation with the clear work of God amongst us as elaborated below.
First, Ashinny an Indian blood Malaysian UQ girl. She of course is of Hindu background but appeared very receptive to the gospel treating it as a neutral option of faith. Actually she was approached before and read the tract at home. So I changed the tactics to ask if there is any area that she doesn't understand or disagrees with. She literally could not be more agreeable with the points we raised in the tract as well as the gospel message that we are all sinners that need Jesus to set us free from the bondage of our sin. After our chat she looked set a step closer to the conviction of the Christen faith.
Second, I approached Patrick who is an ABC whose parents was from Quanzhou 廣州,China. he is very open to the gospel unlike the mainland China students. It was a pity our conversation cut short by the arriving bus. He promised to read the tract and I prayed for another encounter in the near future.
Then God let me approach Anthony, an UQ PHD candidate specializing in Mathematics. He had initial hesitant to chat with me as he uses to consider religious chat is only sentimental making not much sense or have any logical thinking in it. But God opened up his heart and was attracted by what I shared staying for over 45 minutes, if not even around one hour at the costs of skipping several buses to remain into conversation with me. What interested him was not just the power of the gospel but my personal testimony showing how God transformed me from a self-centred and timid introvert person to a bold street evangelist through the many up and down of my life facing numerous trial and test and eventually leading me to accept the grace of Jesus Christ in 1990 in Manchester, UK where I did my Master of Information System at UMIST. Perhaps he saw the very similar path that I have gone through but eventually saved by grace through faith in Christ. As a logical minded scholar, it is hard to ask him to make a hasty decision to accept Christ, but God readily softened his heart that he indicated to me he will seriously going to a catholic church to continue his search for the redemptive grace of Jesus. He was so graceful for our chat and was happy to take a selfie with me. After we parted, I could see him reading the tract immediately before the bus arrived. Praise Ye to the Lord for his amazing grace upon Anthony.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 18/8/2021 from 1300 – 1500
Praise and thanks God that Johnny and Hung resumed Street Evangelism at Sunnybank today ever since the lock down a month ago. We stationed at the Inbound (North bound) Bus Station on the West side. Comparatively, we could approach more Chinese people than people of other nations. Both Johnny and Hung got many long chats that could have brought significant impact to the Gospel hearers. May God’s sovereign power be working effectively to accomplish His Will in the lives of those whom we approached today.

Recap below are the nine Gospel Conversation of Hung.
1) A Serbia orthodox Christian lady was pleased to have a chat after she asked help from us. She was talkative and friendly. She doesn’t like doctrinal talk and does not care if she has assurance of salvation. Simple faith in God is enough for her. Obviously, there are room for better understanding of assurance of salvation. It was a pity the bus came too quick to cut our conversation short as such I missed the chance to know more about orthodox Christian faith status.
2) Then I caught up with an old lady from Hong Kong of Buddhism background. I turned out to be a listener first to her unhappy life in the past. I only had very little time to introduced the gospel of peace and joy to change her mind set.
3) Then Johnny referred a Senior Couple from Guangdong 廣æ±è€å¤«å©¦ who obviously are Cantonese speaking. They have Christian relatives. 有親人信主,and they have not objection to the gospel message admitting everyone is sinner as such we all needs Jesus.å°ç¦éŸ³æ²’åå°. They just need a bit more push from the Holy Spirit to lead them to Christ.
4) Another Chinese lady who was willing to listen to the gospel ä¸åœ‹å©¦å¥³é¡˜è½ï¼ŒIt was a pity the bus came too quick.
5) Then I met a Norwegian Christian lady who knows that no one can go to heaven because we have sin. I bet she should be very clear about assurance of salvation.
6) Bell is a Filipino Young Christian of Catholic background. He initially did not want to chat, but God softened his heart to let me share with him and did find that his concept and understanding of salvation is not clear reflecting on his lack of assurance of salvation. He thanks me after listening to my clarification.
7) Two Indian women both show no interest and declined my approach for a chat.
8 ) Approached an PNG looked man who claimed Johnny had approached him before.
9) Finally , I had a very long chat with Mr Zheng from Shandong.é„å±±æ±äºº. He has lived in Australia for 20 years and lived around SIC. 來20å¹´ä½å—宣附近,through our chat, he appeared to be a religious person despite he has not yet officially received Christ. But he admitted that all human have offended God and we must lead a God fearing pious life to have real inner peace. Pray that he will make up his mind to join SIC in His time.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on August 17th, 2021 from 1330 to 1500.
Praise and thanks God the full Toowong team composing of Johnny, Winnie and Hung were all available again together after the lifting of Lock down. We all had many opportunities of chatting though most of them were short and was just enough for a nutshell of the gospel and handing out a tract. Johnny had an exceptionally long chat with Ivan a local Aussie. He initially responded jokingly not taking it serious, but the work of the Holy Spirit gradually drove him to become a humble and keen learner with good interaction with Johnny. Pray that he will be led to make his step of faith in God’s best timing.
Battle Log of Hung:
1) A girl called Kayla from Norway, happy to chat but conversation cut short by the bus.
2) Ali and his girl friend were pleasant for a chat and took tract despite our conversation was cut short by the arriving bus.
3) Rejected by a man with little Chinese
4) Rejected by a another postmodern look Aussie girl
5) Alisa an Aussie UQ student was receptive to the gospel
6) Grace another Aussie girl who was opened for chat but being cut short by the arriving bus
7) A Korean and a Chinese Christian happy to chat but they disclosed their Christian faith too late as such no time to check their assurance of salvation possibly they are member s of Power To Change.
8 ) Abby a Christian girl from Congo yet only has 80% of Assurance of salvation. Clarified in time before the bus came.
9) Vietnamese man who was friendly for a chat
10) Akosua is an India who attended Catholic Christian school. So he is likely an Australian Born Indian. He is opened to chat and receptive gospel.
11) Gordon appeared friendly and shook hand to say good bye.
12) A Christian gypsy who appreciated our street ministry. He was busy in making call so can’t have time to check for his assurance of salivation which he vaguely indicated it could possibly be 100%
13) An elderly man with grey hair rejected Johnny but I was able to catch up with him identifying with his multilingual ability. Later He indicated he attends the Sherwood Methodist Church.

Praise and thanks God that Gary resumed street outreach today at Sunnybank by himself. I was not aware of his decision to go out there again. So I can only join him next week with or without mask. He reported "Back to an old fishing hole again today for outreach. Pray that those who heard the gospel way of salvation see and comprehend it. He (Jesus) lay aside his Glory - a gift for all."
Anyway, both the Chinese Churches in the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have decided to resume outreach respectively tomorrow at Southport in the vicinity of Australia Fair 1300 to 1430 and at Mooloolaba near the Surf Club at 1030 - 1200 on Friday.
May the Spirit of God be with His faithful servants enclothing them with the glory and protection of God in the form of the full armour of God.

Praise and Thanks God to give Winnie the apostolic passion in her heart that she volunteered to come on Wednesday to do the Toowong ministry that uses to be done on Tuesday. She developed sudden tummy pain and starting to vomit as such she had to cancel coming up to do street evangelism with me yesterday. Today, she was feeling OK so she asked to come to team up with me to do the Toowong outreach we missed out yesterday. It was a normal day with successful chat much more that a few rejections. Recap below are the battle log of Hung and Winnie.
A) Battle Log of Hung
1) Justin a local Aussie who claimed himself an atheist. I expressed my view to respect his stand and not to argue if there is God or not but to discuss the “Good Person Test” as a common concept. Yet I skilfully make Justin to accept that everything on this earth must have a maker. i.e., Building has a builder though unknown to us, a watch has a maker and likewise the Universe so grandeur and amazing must have a beginning as well as a creator. Justin could not find a logic to reject my inference and all along my sharing, he appeared very friendly and receptive to the message. He was happy to take a tract to read at home and ponder on the message I shared with him.
2) Oscar lives up North that needs 3hours drive. He was delightful for a chat, yet I could only manage to finish the nutshell of the gospel before the bus came quickly.
3) Daichi is a Japanese UQ student from Kyoto. He was surprised to get a Japanese tract from me with a Japanese greeting He also appeared very receptive to the gospel message and asked at the end what he needed to respond. I simply ask him to repent and receive Jesus as his Saviour.
4) Jerrod, an UQ student of Civil Engineering from Malaysian. He is of Buddhist background but was friendly to have a chat. Actually, he reminded me I had chatted with him before walking all the way back to his apartment nearby. I was able to persuade him that Buddhism is good like all other religion to guide people to be a good person but could not resolve the issue of sin. And Buddhism by the way is not a real region as there is no God head but just teaching to achieve self-perfection. He was moved to give it a go to make the step of faith to receive Jesus as his saviour.
5) Jackson is a local Aussie who has just graduated but still living in St Lucia looking for job. He cheerfully accepted the tract as the bus came too quick for any meaningful chat.
6) Emily is a first year UQ student from Cairn. She was very delightful to chat with me. It was a pity I could only manage to share the nutshell of the Gospel when the bus arrived.
7) The I caught up with a student from Hangzhou, Jei Jiang, Mainland China. I could associate with him as I visited his home city even before he was born in 1973. It was again a pity that there was no much time to continue with a chat as his bus came very quickly.
8 ) My last conversation was with two Malaysians one of whom is named Li. They were open for a chat about the gospel and both took the tract to read when the conversation again had to be cut short by the quick arriving bus.
Battle Log of Winnie :

I’ve never felt more content. I have no ambition, except the glory of God.
I’d be happy to go to hell. Because I know that God would receive glory by justly punishing me for my wicked sins. But I know I’m not going to hell, because of God’s glorious mercy, Jesus, in paying my hell fine in full upon the cross.
I’m truly happy, being in the background. Anonymous. Telling people about who is important: Jesus. Until I die.
The proof that God exists, is that without God, this universe we are part of couldn’t exist. The proof that God exists, is that without God you can’t prove anything (I know it’s circular, but it still makes complete sense!). So, only God deserves any glory.
Apparently there are a few of you who actually read these reports. I’ve had queries on why I’ve stopped writing them. I’m allowed three hours a week to write these reports. And because they gave me a break from constantly talking to people I made the most of this writing time for my own selfish purpose: introvert time. So, now, there are two years worth of ‘three reports per week’ gathering virtual dust. But I’ve found a new outlet for my introvert time: Instagram and TikTok direct messages. Most of my weekly time now is spent sharing the gospel that way. Long may it last, but just whatever brings God the most glory. So that is the only reason I’ve stopped writing these reports. The team is as busy as ever.
We are still doing street outreach at regular times through the week. We are still having one to one gospel conversations with people online. And training is still occurring. All to the glory of God alone.
One recent street conversation: I was standing in the cold trying to get a conversation started, but no one was taking the bait. I was so cold, I was forced to cross the street to stand in the sun for a while! I was passing out tracts when a young Chinese couple went past. I said: “it comes with a question if you have a minute”. They stopped, and we fell into a gospel conversation. Part way through the conversation the guy mentioned that he had a Bible on his phone. I was curious as to why. He said, “Well, firstly, it was free”. But then he said that they were recently in a hotel down in Invercargill and they had found a Gideon’s Bible and had read a few pages. This had obviously interested him enough to want to read more. Praise God for that! But the couple didn’t yet understand the gospel. The idea of it being a gift was so foreign to their thinking, that I had to labour with them. I could see that the guy still had questions, but I could see a light of understanding come into the eye’s and face of the lady. She was very thankful. What a joy this conversation was! They took the tract, and they have a Bible. Oh that God would save them and knit them into His church, for his glory alone!
But the most stunning recent conversation was on Saturday. Online, part of the weekly training outreach, where we all pair up to listen to each other's gospel conversations and provide feedback. I was paired with Allie, from the USA. She went first, and was instantly (no skips!) into a conversation with a young man from Azerbaijan. I was stunned. Allie is a way better evangelist than I am. She was patient in listening carefully. She knew the right thing to say at the right time. She even anticipated questions and answered them before they were asked. Later he would ask the question and then realise that he already knew the answer! You could tell he was understanding the gospel clearly in the questions that he asked. It was such a joy to watch! There were four, count them, four things I learnt from listening to Allie to help me bring gospel clarity and focus in my future conversations. Sadly, after about thirty minutes of conversation, the young man became resistant and angry. And then Allie knew the time was right to back away and end the conversation - which ended on good terms and with him receiving a follow up link to needGod.net. When it was my turn to share the gospel, and have Allie listen for feedback, I was a blubbering mess, with performance anxiety! After three starts and multiple skips, I finally connected with a young man from the USA who responded with “I think about it all the time” in response to my question “what do you think happens after you die?”. I couldn’t have made the conversation harder for myself, mucking up over and over. And yet, in spite of that, the guy started professing faith. It seemed too easy, so I spent some time making sure he was counting the cost, and that he understood repentance. But, although there was no outward spark that I could see, he held to his profession, and so was given a way of getting in touch, and pointed to a Bible and a local church. He is in God’s hands. But I just praise God that He condescends to use us, as we are, in spite of our weakness, muck ups, and theological mistakes - for His glory. Long may we strive to improve - for His glory!
So, anyway, there won’t be as many reports from me from now on. Not saying never, just whatever brings God the most glory.
Please keep praying for the team and the work we are doing! Pray for labourers for the ripe harvest fields. All glory to God alone.

It’s been a busy year in many aspects, and since we haven’t had a chance to report on the Bribie outreaches since earlier this year, here’s an update on the last few months.
The team has been heading out 1-2 Saturdays a month to distribute Gospel tracts and literature, and we have been encouraged by a number of meaningful discussions. At each outreach, we have been blessed to have several Bibles taken, and we are thankful to see people valuing God’s Word. On outreach days where people were scarce by the Jetty, we letterboxed some local areas and spoke to anyone who was interested.
After one Asian family received tracts, they came back to ask why the Good Person card had not changed colour for them. Weren’t they good people? Would the card change colour for one of us? This provided a beautiful opportunity of explaining that none of us are good, no, not even one. All have sinned and have fallen short of God’s glory. Our only hope of heaven lies in trusting in the goodness of Jesus, and in His work on the cross. Only those who believe on Him can be saved. Pray for their understanding and their salvation.
Two teenagers, Patrick and Declan, were incredibly eager to hear the Gospel. They were extremely engaged, asking and answering questions, while their Christian mother looked on, nodding and smiling. Even after going through the good person test, they stayed to discuss the gospel further, and they took several booklets and a Bible. Praise God for their keen interest! May it be lasting and deep, driving them to Jesus.
A discussion arose between some of the team and three young men. It was an interesting example of the different types of people we encounter. One of the youngsters quickly zoned out and drifted to the car to wait for his friends. The second stood back and listened, attentive but silent, while the third, partly laughing and mocking and partly drawn by the Gospel, asked and responded to the questions. After they had heard the Gospel, they gratefully took tracts and rejoined their impatient friend. We pray that they would discuss what they heard with each other and that they would think deeply on it themselves. The Gospel has a mighty saving power.

A Japanese mother with her two primary aged children came to the flipchart. While she remained silent throughout, she permitted her children to hear the Gospel. Both children were interested and engaged, and although they did not come from a Christian home, they seemed to have an inherent belief in God, which was encouraging to see. When they took tracts at the end, they were also offered a Bible, but the mother refused. The older daughter desperately wanted to take it, and at last her mother said yes. Praise God for allowing His Word to enter their home!
Pray for Simon, a middle aged Englishman, who heard the Gospel. He was handed a tract, and before the two team members moved off, he engaged with them, asking what the leaflet was all about. This resulted in a deeper discussion of beliefs. As a father, Simon wanted to instill good morals in his children, and he thought he was doing a good job. He was sure he was a good dad and a good person, yet he was one of those people who enjoy a good debate without getting offended. So throughout the conversation, as the law and the Gospel were referred to, he was able to stay focused and responsive. In the end when he had to leave, he said he didn’t believe, but that he appreciated our chat anyway. He laughed and said that when we had first given him the tract, he had anticipated a very different discussion. He had assumed we were right-wing extremists, but he was grateful to have been able to hear what we had to say. We thank God for his open mind, but we pray too for an open heart and a receptiveness to the Gospel that he might be saved. Simon wants so much to be a good role model for his family, so we pray he might be the first of many in his family who turn to God in faith.
A group of children stopped to chat to one of the team, and it was strange to see how opposed to God they were, even at their young age. “Christians are evil people who hurt people,” they said, “and God must be bad to allow bad things to happen.” Despite this, they sat themselves down on the ground and asked to hear more. “I don’t believe in God,” one girl said, “but tell me more.” And so they were led through the Gospel, and some of their questions were answered. While they did not seem convinced, they had been receptive to listening, which we praise God for! The seed of the Word has entered their hearts, and by God’s grace, we pray for it to sprout into a beautiful faith. God is mighty to save.

A JP (Justice of the Peace) asked for a Bible for people to swear on, and she also promised to read it herself. It is good to see that many unbelievers, willingly or not, have respect for God’s Word.
A Christian family who had been searching for a church were directed to and joined a local church, which was a tremendous encouragement. It is good for believers to come together publicly for worship and fellowship, and great that the outreach could be a part of bringing Christians together for that. Praise God!
Please pray for Aiden, Mason, Amber, Lee and Miller, some teenagers who heard the Gospel.
Pray too for these children, Noah, Cain, Tristan, and little Savannah.
Some of the team also attended the Brisbane rally for life earlier in the year to take a stand for the protection of the innocent. We pray for a changing of people’s minds in regards to the heinous acts of abortion and euthenasia. God has created all human life as precious, sacred, and in His image, and we desperately want to see Queenlanders coming to understand the need to protect the young and old. The spread of the Gospel is the only way this can truly become a reality.
There were many others who connected with the team in some way or other, whether through tracts, letterboxing, witnessing, preaching, or through the Scriptures, and we ask for your prayers for their souls. Please pray for God’s blessing on each of the hundreds of tracts which have gone forth. May His Word not return unto Him void, but may it reap a tremendous soul harvest, turning hearts towards God, changing lives, and starting a revival, beginning right here at Bribie Island.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday July 20th, 2021 from 1330 to 1500
Praise and thanks God that our Street outreach ministry have been resumed today after three weeks of suspension because of first the locked down then the extension of the mask restriction rule to be ended this Friday 0600 hour. Three of us with Hung from Brisbane and Winnie & Hee Hee from the Gold Coast could not wait but still found the urge to restart earlier defying the mask restriction. We had past experience of doing outreach with mask on and the negative impact of outreach was close to none. Today all the three of us experienced special grace from God to have got many divine appointments with people either willingly or some with initial resistance. Case A3 & A5 with Hung and B2 with Hee Hee are typically the kind of initial rejection but turned around by God to end up as a fruit bearing conversation. Winnie and Hee Hee have shared their special encounter separately as quoted below as Part B and Part C.
A) As for Hung , recap below are the five conversations short or long yet none without the Plan and Will of God to let it happened: -
1) An old Aussie lady appeared very welcoming to our greeting. It was a pity that the bus simply arrived too quick that left us no room to get into the sharing of the gospel. It anyway was not a too bad start.
2) Jenny a local Aussie girl who appeared indifferent to my Gospel sharing. But I still managed to finish sharing the full gospel to her before the bus arrived.
3) Maggie an UQ student from northern Qld who showed initial reluctance to chat. But I identified with her by means of my outback experiences in NT , WA and North West Qld then she was all open for a chat. She obviously has been resisting the gospel for a long time but finished listening the nutshell of gospel this time before the bus arrived. She hurried away for the bus but surely this time with the tract and the seed of gospel left in her heart.
4) Allan an UQ student from Mainland China, who got off from the bus heading for the Toowong village but was stopped by me. He politely indicated that he got the tract and had a chat with our people before. I followed up on how he found the tract and the gospel message he learned from last conversation. He responded that the message was sound and sensible but he is not yet ready to make any major commitment to accept Jesus yet. I any how more or less revised the whole message stressing that it is his own right to ponder any time longer before a conviction comes form the Holy Spirit. But I suggested to him to approach and join Power to Change that they are a group of Christian students who are willing to answer more question if any from Allan. He left with a more positive attitude towards the need to respond to the Gospel any time sooner than later.
5) Allusa is an Indian PhD at UQ with specialty on Neuro Science. She was very proud of her academic achievement as well as her Family up bringing in Hinduism religious cultural background. She did not intend to stop for a long chat, but God made her had a sudden spraining of her ankle as such she had to stop to rest for a while. I made use of this golden opportunity to share her the full gospel. She found no loop hole in the logic of God’s redemptive plan through the sacrificial death of Jesus to take our place for shouldering the punishment of our sins due on us. She simply claimed she could not betray her own religion. I reassure her that her own religion as well as all other world religions are not bad but all serving the purpose of guiding people to be a good person. But as explained by the tract, being a good person alone is not good enough to make us perfect. We all have to face judgment after we die for our sin. Only Jesus incarnated as a perfect human being 2000 odd years ago who died for us was capable of paying for our sin with His sacrificial death. My mission is just to let her be aware of this redemption package offered by God. I am in no position to pressurize her to make an hasty immediate decision. Just take her time to ponder on the Gospel message and leave it to the work of the Holy Spirit to bring final conviction of faith in His Time.
B ) Brief records of Lin Hee Li’s today's divine encounters:
1) Tried to give an overseas student from China the evangelical pamphlet. He said he had received the pamphlet before. Then I chatted with him and introduced Jesus to him: Jesus died for our sins. But raised so that people believe can be at peace with God. He was willing to listen.
2) Two gay people refused to chat when i asked whether they knew Jesus. But then the one first rejected showed willingness to chat when I sat next to them for a short while. I told him in Jesus' time, he loved to meet people who were socially being rejected. Jesus accepted all people and loves us all. He then answered me his grandpa (aged 105) who died recently used to attend Church. He thought Grandpa lived his life in full and he loved him. We continued to chat further regarding his surgery recently. Bus arrived and he left with an appreciation that I would pray for him re his recent surgery.
3) Wo Tai, Vietnamese, different religion, Buddhism. He's got the pamphlet before. Explained to him Jesus died for our sins so that we can be at peace with God... I could see his heart soften. And said he understand what I said. But bus came. I said God loves blessing him. He nodded.
4) Talked to two overseas students (girls, one from China, the other from Taiwan). They said they haven't heard about Jesus. I had the chance to tell them Jesus's salvation. Encouraged them to attend University Fellowship by Power To Change.
